I actually find very dull/boring music puts me to sleep. I was listening to one of the most boring stations that plays the slowest songs I've ever heard that have like 1 instrument in all of them which is either a accordian, banjo or harmonica. That really helped me get to sleep.:)

edit: i just used 'war and peace' as an example, i apologise to any war and peace fans

i dont listen to the music when i go to sleep unless im stoned out of my mind. however i do like sleeping with a good dose of psilocybin and psilocin. Hallucigeneic sleep is always fun ^_^ if you dont know what i mean, dont worry about it.

I was never able to sleep w/ music on until I started listening to The Crystal Method. For some reason, I find it very soothing.

I don't listen to music. I just turn to a really boring show (pretty much anything on the discovery channel that doesn't involve car chases or tornados).

Enya would put me to sleep whenever I was at my Grandma's house. I use a fan at night, although running water is good for putting me to sleep too.

Massive attack is good stuff. It's best to listen to while on a train ride home after a long day in town at night while the snow is falling gently. :-)

Actually, Jazz is pretty much all I listen to when I'm laying in bed.

Massive Attack does it for me too, especially the Mezzanine album. ;) Also, Mozart works for me too.

I listen to the unbreakable theme. Mostly before I take a nap after playing like a few hours of Metroid Prime. I get exchuasted. They call me Mr.Glass!

generally i sleep listening to classical battle marches and orchestral masterpieces. if any of you havent heard "carmina berana" by carl orff go get it... NOW!

right now im trying to track down a song from a recent lotr movie (both of them actually) i dont know the song title but it plays in the background on this website

http://www.ea.com/eagames/official/lordoftherings/home.jsp

if somebody knowledgable of lotr music could possibly go there and tell me what song that is i would be greatly appreciative.

I love that song!! Its almost as good as the imperial march. Well, its the Isengard theme, and shoudl be on the LotR sound track from FotR...!

I hope this helps my friend!

The Isengard Theme isn't directly on TTT CD, it's Isengard Unleashed on the CD for TTT, with vocals.... It has very little of the actual theme in it.....

So I would say it it the FOTR CD that it comes from...

but any "psy/trance" will do that, i enjoy the melloow 311 songs the most though, my 311/trip play list is: electricity, amber, jackolanterns weather, champange, hostile apostle, beautiful disaster, sweet, all mixed up, come original, flowing and strong all along (i only like the mellow ones to keep me at a peaceful happy state of mind during a trip)
