Hi guys. I'm a new user here, but I have been eagerly awaiting Galactic Battlegrounds. I can't wait!

I do have a question, though. I read the GamesDomain review today, and I was reading about each of the campaigns. I immediately was very confused. I thought that there would be 6 campaigns, each one corresponding to the 6 civilizations. But in the review, it had each campaign as one mission with a specific character.

I thought it would be that each campaign had many missions (you could say levels) to play. Not just one level each. I guess I was thinking it would be like StarCraft where you have 3 campaigns (3 civilizations), each having about 10 individual missions/levels.

Can anyone shed some light on this? I know the game will be awesome, but I am a bit worried now. :)

Thanks!
-Isaac

Hey I thought that at first too, but IMHO I think it's like AoK where you start off with egyptian and they tell you how to hunt, gather food, etc. But what I'm trying to get at is, that whole section might be just a training area. They might not have shown the other campaigns yet as well. Note: This is just my personal opinion I'm not sure if this is true or not.

Hope you have a nice stay here.

About the campaigns: there are six campaigns of 6-7 scenarios.
Each campaign has a hero (such as Wallace or Joan of Arc in AoK)

The campaigns are the following:
1. Training Campaign. Atichittcuck (Chewbacca's Father) Wookiees
2. OOM-9. Trade Federation
3. Princess Leia. Rebel Alliance
4. Darth Vader. Galactic Empire
5. It is with a gungan leader, which I don't remember his name.
6. Chewbacca. Wookiees

There is not a whole campaign for the Naboo, but they appear actively in the Gungan and Trade Federation ones.

Hope it cleared out your doubts.

Yes, i just want to add that there will be several missions in each campaign, but they will revolve around the civ and events of Hero. That doesn't mean they only have one mission, or that you play as a specific character only.

Let me give you a run down on the campigns. First one were you play as the wookiee civ as Qui-Gon Jinn and you help the wookiees set up a new colony somewhere. but the trade federation is trying to use the planet as a base so you'll fight against them, and this is the learning campign set a short time before TPM. Second campign is as the TF were you are OMM-9 the TF droid commander and you fight against the gungans and Naboo. Third campign is as the gungans where you first are boss Gallo a actient ancestor of Boss Nass and you first fight against a rougue gaungan and then you are Boss Nass where you fight against the TF and you play as the Naboo some too in this part. Fourth is were you are Darth Vader and you play the Empire and you fight against the Rebels. Fifth campign is as the rebels and you fight against the empire and you play as Leia I think. Sixth campiagn as where you are chewie and Han and you play as the wookiees in the liberation of Kashyakk a little while after RoTJ.

First one were you play as the wookiee civ as Qui-Gon Jinn

I also read that in the review, but personally, I think it is wrong.

You play as Atichittcuck (Chewie's father)
