How do you make a moving Avatar? I keep seeing them around, but haven't been able to figure out how to make one. I am appoarently the king of dumb questions today. :p

Thanks in advance.

It's a GIF animation, and I think you need Paint Shop Pro or some other more advanced (than PaintBrush obviously ;) ) paint program.

or you could go find one of those people who make them (eets, a few people over at the swamp) and ask them nicely to make you an animated avatar

LOL i just use flash :p

Jan... just export the movie.. and when you have to choose a name.. you can always save it as gif animation.

But remember... your avatar can be bigger than 70 x 70 pix and not bigger than 20 kb.

Good information to know. Maybe I'll play with that a little later tonight after work...when I get home to a REAL computer.

I'll steer clear from Flash MX, scary.

But, I prefer to use PSP 7.4 (Or 7.5, I think)

You make all the frames, then In PSP's add on (Costs a bit extra) 'Animation shop, you put them all in a frame.

Thanks for all the advice, though I doubt I will actually purchase software to only use it once. Is there any freeware out there that might do the job? Of course then it is a matter of finding a copy of the ROTJ scene I want to make it from (probably even less likely)
