That site, while it is a good site, is not based on pure fact, it is based on the screenshots, ans some previews. I really don't think that theycan land, if it says so in the site, that means that he assumed that based on the movie. Besides, why would they WANT to land, they would be just as week power wise on the groud, and they would have terrain limitations there, so it wouldn't do anyone any good.

I can tell you 100% sure that the fed planes will not be able to walk on the surface. All of the ships hover when they are not moving.

No can say 100% about anything, yet or personal I think they will be able to walk on land making them excellent mecs, but half descent ships, or the other way around, because the TF air is kind of below par. I believe the will walk around if not selected as an option or instead of walking, otherwise they wont capture the true droid fighter!:bdroid2: :bdroid2: :bdroid2: :bdroid1:

I can tell you that i'm 100% positive about several things. Things such as:

I'm 100% positive that the wookies will be in the game
I'm 100% positive the Trade Federation will be in the game etc.
I'm 100% positive that there will be air units in the game
I'm 100% positive that the Imperials will have the ATAT
I'm 100% positive that the game will use the AOK Engine
and so on........

Get my point?

Just a note ... I said that they could land as refering to the movie, not so much the game. :)

Did it EVER occur to you that Chris could have seen that in the Beta or talked to Gaber or even another designer?

Didn't Gaber said all air units hover? so I would really doubt it.

Maybe one of the TF mechs will be the "Droid Fighter Walker"... :D

I think that wouldn't be so good. Funny, but would get old quick.

Wow, that comment about 100% very witty, feel proud, lol
But seriously I hope they do end up being able to walk in the end, and yes i doubt that Chris has seen it in Beta. Are you guys against the thing walking? But prove me wrong and show me a pic or something because nothing is for sure till the game is out, and I can find out for myself.

Um, who are you talking to.

I'm against the thing walking, if it has to move fly (it is an air unit). Also Gaber said Air units hover and don't land.
