What Level Am I In ???

How do i know which level im in.........when i load the game all it says is CAIRN_DOCK 1........everyone talks levels.....how do i find out.......thanx

count the automatic saves from the start of the game?

I think there are about 24 or so levels in the game and carin_dock is somewhere around 16 or so...
