I posted this at the SWG.net, but was told that this is the proper place for this kind of feedback- here's a copy

Pop-up's on this site
I realize that you guys need to pay bills and support the site, but the latest sound-enhanced banners have just gone too far... Now I have to turn my sound off before coming to the boards. Whats next, a mandatory phone-solicitation? Come on guys, lets at least try and keep the commercial crap from taking over the internet.

I don't think he means the pop-ups persay. Are you refering to the annoying banner that yells, "HEY....YOU! Ah redoosed ma det an u ken to.", in that pitiful southern accent?

I don't see the ads, nor the pop-ups. I did used to have Pop-Up Stopper, but it seemed to like close new windows I open too.

Now all I get is loads of 'Action canceled' pages where the banners are. (I added all the spyware / crappy sites to my restricted zone, ugo included. ;))

Maybe I should try and use Zone Alarm Pro to remove the banners too. :D

I would recommend that you download the Pop-Up Stopper from PanicWare.com
