Don't use the patch provided by lucasarts!!
after i installed it, i was unable to catch doctor volodnic!!!! I just could'nt find him noo more even the solutions of other players didn't work!!!!

Did you try reinstalling the game, then?

I installed the patch and could catch him. But I dont think the patch worked because he still go stuck in some places.

After I installed the patch I first just played on using a savegame where I was already standing at the edge of the room where Volodnik is...
DIDN'T WORK!

Then I started the Level over totally...
DIDN'T WORK!

After that I reinstalled the game not using the patch....
IT WORKED!
