Luka's Revenge: Sequel to Hunt for Teraytiro Rodiar

1. Everyone plays their own characters. You can also play roles of common enemies such as Stormtroopers, Rodians, Weequays, etc.
2. Keep it in the Star Wars realm. (By this I mean do moves that you will see basically in a Star Wars movie/game...you can still be a character that is not based on a Star Wars character)
3. No Godmode
4. I will be controlling 2 PCs, Wra'fo and Katarn07, both who have bios and statistics in the character database.

Luka's Revenge

It is days after the events of the first chapeter in the saga. Katarn07 has gotten his arm fixed and was promoted for his bravery in his aid with Teraytiro. He has been partnered up with his Rodian friend, Wra'fo, and is assigned to destroy the remainer of the drugs of Teraytiro's.
Luka, brother of Guro (former head Lt of Teraytiro, killed by Katarn07) has set up a trap just for Katarn07 to bring honor to his brother's death. He has hidden the drugs all over the undercity of Coruscant where he hopes he may target Katarn07 and kill him.

Katarn07 and Wra'fo sit in a booth together in a small restaraunt called AJ's Place. They have a nerf steak split between the two of them, and each have an empty glass.

"So, what new leads did you find while I was away Wra'fo?"

"Nothing new Gunny. The Vault was nearly destroyed when the base went up, but I can see Luka is still adding to it. Something is up. The drugs have been relocated. But where..."

"Yeah, that is the problem. I posted an ad on the holonet like you asked, looking for mercenaries to help out. I don't think you'll get a reply though. You didn't offer a reward."

Wra'fo gets a Juri Juice from the droid waitress, "Aren't there those honest ones out there willing to do it out of the goodness of their hearts, Gunny? What has happened to the Galaxy? Honestly..."

Katarn07 takes his drink as well and responds, "Shutup, Wra'fo. There may be a few. You know we made a few friends that didn't end up trying to kill us on that last mission."

"Fett and Moonknight?"

"Yeah. I'm sure Zo will be willing to help us out. You know her, she does stuff for justice, not money. She did all that work for the NRI with no reward, besides not being arrested."

"Umm. That was personal. I'm sure Luka is doing the same for you. He has no thought of money with the drugs, it's a trap for..."

"Yeah, I know. But I have to help my buddy out." Katarn07 finishes his steak, "If no one arrives here by the end of the day, we're doing this on our own. NRI has deadlines you know..."

[Darth NeoVenom]

Katarn07 and Wra'fo then notice a silver and black R2 unit near the entrance of AJ's Restuarant...It pauses as it scans everything in the restuarant from the entrance.

[Katarn07]

Katarn07 looks up and sees the droid. He nudges Wra'fo, "Look familiar?"

"Umm. That's Fett's droid. Right?"

"R9. Yeah, I think it is."

Katarn07 leaves a pile of creits on the table and goes over to the droid, "R9?"

[Darth NeoVenom]

R9 then beeps and whistles. Then it heads outside to where Zofire Fett is.

[Karsec]

Cartun, sort of a chubby fellow with a bellowing laugh walks by the table.

"I think I'm going to eat the place out tonight!" he laughs and sits at a table in the corner. It's obvious, he's been drinking.

[jokemaster]

*jokemaster sits in a booth at AJ´s, looking up info on persons he could be. *

[Katarn07]

Katarn07 dismisses Curtan and heads out to meet Zofire. "Zo. What are you doing here? And if you're replying to the ad, I just posted a few hours ago. It's nice to see you though."

Wra'fo is still in the restaurant finishing his drink when he eyes both Curtan and a man in the booth. The shadows are distorting his vision as to who it is.

He has no time to. A group of 5 Rodians walk in, with a pale skinned Trandoshan. Each have blasters drawn. Wra'fo decides to slouch in the booth. His weapons skills are low. he gets out his comlink, "Gunny. Get back in here. We have a situation."

"What?"

"Luka's men have tracked you to AJ's. If they see me though..."

"I'm on my way."

Katarn07 looks to Zofire, "Well, regardless as to why you are here, would you mind helping Wra'fo out?"

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire then follows Katarn07 into AJ's restuarant with her blaster drawn.

[Karsec]

Catrun stumbles over to the Rodian group.

In slurred speech, he says,
"Heh, sorry guys... ole D's isn't here... eh, why would you think to find him here? Haha."

The Rodians just look at eachother.

"Well...maybe you arn't here for D after all...I'm gonna go finish ma meal! Fr... bleh....feel free to pay for...all of it..yeah, har har!"

When Cartun stumbles back to his table, he drops a flat, metal object on the ground.

[Katarn07]

Wra'fo sees Curtan drop the object and raises an eyebrow, but blaster fire erupts by in the door way. Two Rodians go down, the rest try to flee.

Katarn07 grabs one, and tries to pull him in, but the Trandoshan kicks him aside. Katarn07 goes down; blood comes from his mouth and nose.

Wra'fo decides to get up now and fire a few shots at the group's backs.

Another Rodian goes down, but before he can fire any more shots, both the last Rodian and the Trandoshan flee.

Wra'fo turns to the shadowy booth, but the small silver object Curtan dropped catches his eye. Katarn07 stands up, "Thanks Zo... Uhh, my head."

"Gunny," Wra'fo starts. He tilts his head in the direction of Curtan.

Katarn07 sits down in the booth with the man, "So. You knew those bunch, did you?" He turns to the droid waitress, "Could you get me some Java Juice for this fine gentleman."

"Sure thing, hun."

Wra'fo motions for Zo to sit at the table and help them out.

[jokemaster]

*the manager goes to jokemaster´s booth*
Manager: are you going to order anything?
Jokemaster: no.
Manager: Do you have any money?
Jokemaster: No
Manager: Then move to the bar, the booths are for paying customers only
*jokemaster picks up his stuff and goes to the bar, sitting on a stool in front of the couter.*

"Well, heh heh, I didn't exactly KNOW them...just seems my ole buddy draws attention to those Rodians quite often. I'm supposed to find some old group of his here..but..shhhh...he told me to watch out for 'em...because they can turn on you reeeal fast! Har har!"

"Say...you look like you could use some... 'help.' "

Cartun pulls out a flat, metal object out of his pocket.

"See this? This is a key to my back office of my shop. I only have two on me, but I have some 'goods' back there you may be interested in. I don't just offer this to ANYbody! It's yours for only 10,000 credits, quite a deal, might I add!"

[Katarn07]

"Like?" Katarn07 asks. "I'm not in the mood for games. I'll take it, though. Thanks alot. Then this buddy must be, D?"

Wra'fo nudges him before Cartun responds, "Uhh, Gunny. Isn't that J.. Jokemaster?"

"I thought you said you sobered up!"

Katarn07 looks to the bar and mumbles, "Son of a Gundark. I thought he had..."

Katarn07 leaves and says to Jokemaster, "Hey, buddy. I though you died."

Wra'fo looks to Cartun as he pretends to adjust his shoe, but secretly takes the other key from the floor, "I see. Well, we will visit your shop sometime in the near future. Just contact us on the holonet. I'm usually logged on most of my days. We'll get back to you."

Before Zofire sat down, see motions to R9 to come in AJ's restuarant. As R9 comes in, Zofire and R9 head to the table where Wra'fo is sitting at. "Is this seat taken?" Zofire asks.

[Katarn07]

Wra'fo allows Zofire in and sees a Rodian and human coming into the bar, "Jeez. You'd think we're on Rodia!"

The human spots Zofire and looks at her and then to his Rodian companion, "That is Fett?"

The Rodian nods and the two go to the booth, "Excuse me. We must borrow Zofire."

Wra'fo nods slowly, "OK." He whispers to Zofire, "Be careful. Here, take this. I'll contact you as to what it is."

He hands her the second key.

The human looks at Zofire. He is in his early 20s and nods, "So. You are Zofire Fett. You have no idea how long I've been lookg for you. My Rodian pal is the brother of the guy you killed last week."

The Rodian raises his hands from his belt, "I'm not here for revenge. You did me and my family a favor."

The human continues, "I traced you down to Concord Dawn, but found your parents had sent you to a planet called Ziltenia. I had no idea you were raised by foster parents. Anyhow, I have come to meet one of my last remaining relatives."

The news takes Zofire by surprise. Concord Dawn? Releative? The man offers his hand, "I am Brad. Brad Mereel. The name may not sound familiar to you, but trust me, I know we are blood related. I am your older cousin..."

[Darth NeoVenom]

Shocked by the news, Zofire hardly could speak. She then says, "Who are my parents?" She then looks at Brad Mereel and his Rodian companion in search of an answer.

[Katarn07]

Brad looks around the bar for a minute before answering, "I contacted you mother, your real mother. Your father is dead. He died a right after you were born in an Imperial attack. The Mereel family and Fett family are scattered about. To my knowledge, you and Boba are the only ones still doing the Mandalorian thing. I can tell you yur family heretige. It'll take time though. I thought you'd ask, so I prepared this."

Brad reaches into his travel bag he has in his hand and a datapad falls out. Brad quickly replaces it before Zofire can see anything on it. He then takes out another pad, "Here. Our family tree. Or what is known of it."

The pad contained info about Zofire's family. Her father was a Mandalorian Commando who married a woman sister to Jaster Mereel.

"Jaster changed his name to Boba Fett, after he killed a fellow Journey-man on Concord Dawn. That is where he and you come from. Read on."

Zofire's parents moved from the battle field where the Mandalorian Commandoes fought their last battle with the Jedi, prior to the Clone Wars. Together, they lived in solitude in the wilderness. The Empire made their rise, and 7 years before Battle of Yavin, Zofire was born. She was moved to her father's cousins house on Ziltenia along with his armor.

"I think you know the rest. I am Boba Fett's son, Brad. I go by the name Mereel, though. It's less conspicous. Your surname, Fett, is your mother's maiden name, being sister to Boba... Now that I have found you, I thought we could get to know eachother more. I have lived alone on Concord Dawn for years until I found your mother. What do you say?"

[jokemaster]

(before the rodian and human arrive)
Katarn: Hey, buddy. I though you died
Jokemaster: excuse me?

[Katarn07]

Katarn07 frowned. Had the drugs set in? Possibly. This was definately Jokemaster.

"Hey, Jokemas... Jack. Jack Ryan?"

He turns to his companions at the table and looks back at him, "Sorry. My mistake."

Katarn07 sits by Wra'fo after Zofire leaves to meet Brad, "Get into the Vault soon. Find out all you can about these drugs."

Wra'fo nods, "Sure thing Gunny. I wonder who that guy is your friend is talking to."

Katarn07 turns to see Brad Mereel drop a datapad of some sort and quickly hide it. He squinted his eyes to get a better look at it. It was old, had a coat of rust on it, and a faded emblem on the back of it.

He shakes his head, "I have no clue. I guess we'll soon find out, won't we?"

[jokemaster]

*seeing Katarn leave*
that guy seems familiar, probably saw him come in. but still...

[Darth NeoVenom]

"I don't know. This has came to me a little too fast. I'll contact you when I come up with a decision. It is glad to know that my mother is still alive and that I have relatives like you still around." Zofire says to Brad.

[Katarn07]

Brad says to her before she goes back to the booth where Katarn07 and Wra'fo are waiting, "You can visit her, on Concord Dawn. I can take you to see her. Of course..." He sees the dead bodies on the floor and Cartun in the booth, "It appears you are busy. Contact me here."

He hands her a second data pad, "That has info on my whereabouts on days of the week and time. I am a busy man. Just got into the family buisness, you know..."

He and his Rodian companion leave.

Katarn07 looks to her, "Who was that? My Force skills in eavesdropping aren't to great..."

He looks at the datapad and sees it is a brand new pad, with sleek silver finish and a green font against black monitor. He looks to Zofire, "He must be rich. The NRI doesn't use equipment like this..."

[Karsec]

"Hmm, you guys seem a bit busy. I think...

*A light shows up on a small device on his belt*

"Oops! Someone's trying to contact me. You fellows have an excellent day. Hope to see you at the shop soon!"

*Cartun gives directions to the shop and beings to walk about, but stops at another table*

"Say, you guys seem like you could use some help. Perhaps you'd like to take a look at my 'goods' at my shop sometime. I don't offer this to just ANYone you know! Har har."

The group ignores Cartun.

[Darth NeoVenom]

"He is a relative of mine. I just found out. Also he says that he can take me to see my other." Zofire says to Katarn07 and Wra'fo. She puts the datapad away.

[Katarn07]

"Are you going? Well, if so, at least come back to the Sable Dove for good-byes."

Katarn07 and Wra'fo get out from the booth and glance and Jokemaster one last time before leaving.

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire replies, 'I'm not so sure I'm going right now. I am still alittle bit shock to all this new information. I will see later on when I get a better analysis."

[Katarn07]

"Well, I know you must be going through alot right now so I won't expect your help for awhile. Hope you are yourself soon Zo, and your life get's back in order..."

Katarn07 and Wra'fo leave the bar together after one last look to Jokemaster. They take off in the Sable Dove, "Hmm, we may need some help on this after that guy screwed up Zofire's life. Ideas?"

OCC: This RPG is going to sit here for a while until Darth NeoVenom returns, because Zofire Fett is essential to the main story I had in mind... Sorry for those who cared.

[jokemaster]

((OOC: just let me bring one character back))
*The contact, Ding Clark walks into the NRI building, having just finished basic operative training*
Ding: Anything going on?
Secretary: Yeah, we need info on the drug.
Ding: Who requested that?
Secretary: I think you know him, names Katarn
Ding: Who doesn't know Kyle?
Secretary: not him, his clone
Ding: He's the guy who helped me get out, what would he want with it?
*secretary shrugs and Ding goes to work, trying to hack into the digital Vault*

(Out of Character: Sorry for the wait. It'z just that I'm going through a lot at the moment. I have good news. Things are improving little by little. Thank you for your patience.)

After seeing Katarn07 and Wra'fo leaving. Zofire thinks about the whole situation with Brad Mereel. She then heads towards her ship and sits in inside, getting her thoughs cleared.

She then speaks to R9, "This is all coming to quickly for me. I need time. As soon as I come up with a decision. I'll contact Gunny and Wra'fo. Then I'll contact Brad Mereel."

R9 moans sadly.

[Katarn07]

OCC: Cool. Hope things turn out well, Neo. ;)

Wra'fo thinks for a moment, "My brother is still in that organization. He is under Luka's command. I can send him a message for help. He may have some info."

Katarn07 nods, "Yeah, maybe. But he's a sabacc dealer. What are the chances?"

Wra'fo shrugs, "I dunno. It's worth a shot."

The Sable Dove enters a traffic lane.

[RpTheHotrod]

ooc: I'm still here. Just waiting for the right moment. ;)

[jokemaster]

*jokemaster walks out of the restaurant, unaware of two rodians watching him*
Rodian 1: Luka wants to know if the drug really did work on humans
Rodian 2: I don't know, but the human subject is here. Think we should capture him?
Rodian 1: Yes. but not now, too many people around.

[topshot]

After receiving the request for help from the holonet, Topshot struts into AJ's restaurant, passing a strange yet somehow familiar guy walking out of the bar.

Hmmm........do I know that guy? Puzzling. I swear I met him somewhere before. Memory's not clear, though. Oh well.........

Topshot:"Waiter, get me a cold Corellian beer."

Waiter at the bar counter:"As you wish, sir."

He then notices a couple people having a conversation. One of 'em appears to be an exact copy of Kyle Katarn. Topshot then walks over and introduces himself.

Topshot:"Heard yah guys needed some mercenary help! I presume that you Katarn07 and Wra'fo. Am I not correct?"

[Darth NeoVenom]

(Out of Character: Zofire is on her ship Topshot)

Zofire walks out and notices Jokemaster. She didn't realize him at first but then approaches him.

"Hey Jokemaster. Do you remember me?" she says to Jokemaster.

R9 quickly follows Zofire as she heads towards Jokemaster.

[jokemaster]

Jokemaster: You know me?

Rodian 1: She has found him
Rodian 2: Wait, she may decide not to interfere with his memory

[Darth NeoVenom]

"Yeah." She says to Jokemaster.

She then says to R9, "R9, hand me my datapad."

R9 whistles and beats and a little hand comes out and hands Zofire the datapad.

"You wrote this report on Teraytiro." she says to Jokemaster while showing him the datapad.

[jokemaster]

Jokemaster: let me see

Rodian 1: She's giving him something, shoot her
*Rodian 2 tries to shoot Zofire with his sniper rifle, but hits the datapad instead, destroying it before jokemaster can read anything*

*jokemaster's instincts kick in after seeing the datapad suddenly explode, he quickly ducks, and starts looking for cover*

[topshot]

Topshot, startled by a small explosion, looks out a nearby window.

Topshot:"Great! Just great! Of all this time, it had to Rodians!"

Katarn07:"You got a problem with Rodians?"

Topshot:"Yeah, a little bit of one. Zolex of the Scythehunters."

Katarn:"Scythehunters? Who are they?"

Topshot:"An infamous gang of murderous bounty hunters. Zolex was a Rodian assigned to assassinate myself and a brother of mine, Obi Bond. The Empire placed a stamp on our heads for stealing their secret plans for a new and enhanced Death Star."

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire runs towards her ship, dodging the shoot fired by the Rodians. She then gets her modified desruptor rifle and stands near the ramp of the Slave II.

She then contacts Katarn07, "Gunny, Jokemaster and I are under fire outside on the hanger. We have the know the locations of these attackers."

[Katarn07]

Before all of the events happening, AJ contacts Katarn07, "Some guy here is looking for ya. Responding to an ad on the holonet."

Katarn07 returns and sits in the booth awaiting the man's arrival.

Katarn07 turns to Topshot, "Obi Bond? Name sounds familiar? No time to think, my friend is in trouble. Can you help me with these goons? We need them alive if possible..."

Wra'fo leaves with his E-11 drawn, "Hurry up, Gunny! Zofire and Jokemaster are pinned down under sniper fire..."

[topshot]

As he unholsters his Blastek Pistol, Topshot tells Katarn07,"Obi had told me stories of a guy named Klai Finn and how he helped to defeat his evil brother and another Dark Jedi. Why, do you know my brother?"

While running, Topshot quickly aims and shoots for the Rodians' arms.

"My brother and I always had the best shot in our family. We knew where to hit a guy, whether its to kill 'im, or to stun 'im. He told me that the arms were a good place to stun them with a Blastek."

[Darth NeoVenom]

Looking through the disruptor's scope. Zofire sees one of the Rodians is stunned. She quickly fires 3 shots at the Rodian knocking him of the building. She then contacts Katarn07 and Wra'fo, "I got one of them."

[Alberdarek]

A tall slim man dressed in a black cloak slips up alongside katarn07.
"You want some help?" asks the man.

[Katarn07]

Katarn07 shrugs, "I dunno. The last time me and my friend Zo accepted help from a guy, she almost ended up dead... But then again, there must be a dozen Rodian assassins of Luka's lurking this sector alone. Sure."

He fires a shot at a Rodian with a sniper rifle, firing potshots at the ramp of Slave II.

Katarn07 looks to Topshot, "Klai Finn. I know him, he is an NRI agent as well. I must have heard stories of Bond from him then. If you are as good as the stories of Bond, then that is enough to get a good start on this case."

Wra'fo runs to the Sable Dove, "Hey, Gunny. I'll prep the ship. Would you hurry up with those goons?"

Katarn07 nods, "Good." Through a comlink, he tells Zofire, "Hey, Zo. Me and some new friends will hold off those Rodians for a few seconds. Get into your ship and take off as fast as possible!"

He takes out a flash bang and throws it at the group, and then strats firing shots at the stunned Rodians, "Now!"

[topshot]

Topshot:"So then, this mission has to do with some bloke named Luka and some sort of drug, right? I'm just trying to get a clear image of your objectives."

[Katarn07]

Katarn07 takes out the last of the attacking Rodians and yells to Zofire while watching half a dozen flee, "You're clear. Go."

He turns to the stranger, "Thanks."

He looks to Topshot and nods, "Yeah. Luka is the Weequay that took over the organization of Teraytiro Rodiar, some Rodian thug we killed last week on Nar Shaddaa. Luka has no need for money. He wants me dead. I killed his brother, Guro, who took my arm off."

He shows the two his mechanical right arm, "Well. That is my ship, the Sable Dove."

He turns to the stranger, "We could use all the help we can. Want to join us?"

[topshot]

Topshot (whispers to himself):"Guro......Teraytiro Rodiar......I get it. Luka wants revenge."

He then turns to his own ship, a heavily modified X-Wing.

Topshot:"And this is my ship, The Dragon King........."

After hearing Katarn07, Zofire boards her ship and takes off towards the traffic.

Zofire contacts everyone and says, "I'll search around and let you know if anything comes up."

[Alberdarek]

Zofire hears a dull clanging from behind him.

"Hello" comes a cheery voice. "nice to finally meet you.

[jokemaster]

*watches ship take off from the street*

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire quickly turns around and pulls out her modified DE-11 blaster rifle. She can not clearly see who the person.

She quickly says to the person, "Who are you?"

[Alberdarek]

"im a friend. you can call me waylander but for now i can tell you no more exept that i wish to travel with you and will be a geat asset."

Waylander extends his hand

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire shakes Waylander's hand.

"Why do you wish to travel with me? You have any information on this Luka guy?" Zofire says to Waylander.

R9 beeps, whistles, and then approaches Zofire.

"This is R9 by the way." She says to Waylander.

[Alberdarek]

"unfortunatley no..but i overheard some1 talkin in a bar near hear said u were looking for him. he....he...im sorry. im not sure i want 2 talk about it"

waylander crumples 2 a heap on the floor and begins to weep.

"ill be alright, just carry on with watever u were doing"

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire looks at Waylander with a worried look on her face.

"What's wrong?" she says to Waylander.

[Alberdarek]

"lika....killed my wife, about 17 years ago. i swore an oath to pluck his measily eyes from his face and cut of his fingers before killing him. just like he did to helen."

waylander stands up and brushes the tears from his face

"sorry for bothering you with my petty problems. will you allow me to travell with you?

[Katarn07]

Topshot and Katarn07 part ways to their ships. Katarn07 climbs aboard the Sable Dove. Wra'fo greets him, "Hey Gunny. I got a message here from a Brad Mereel..."

"Who?"

"I dunno. It just says to watch your back. It says don't trust anyone but your green skinned friend."

"And Zo."

"Actually, it he does say that the people not to trust does include the human girl."

"What the hell does he know? She helped the NRI and us out on that last case, and I'm sure she'll help us on this one. What about Topshot and... Where'd that other guy go? I didn't even catch his name."

"Hmm. I don't trust him already. Topshot is the brother of Bond, whom Klai Finn has told me so much about. I trust him and Zo. But this message... Should we tell Zo?"

Katarn07 thinks it over, "No. That guy is full of crap. Son of a Gundark has no clue as to what the hell he is talking about."

Katarn07 storms from the cockpit and retires to his quarters after yelling to Wra'fo to take off.

Wra'fo does so and sends a comminique to Zofire that reads: Follow us and the X-Wing. Keep radio silence. Gunny is really pissed.

"Oh. I am sorry Waylander. You can follow me and the others."

After that said, Zofire recieves the message from Wra'fo. Zofire spots the Sable Dove and the X-wing in the distance and follows them.

After entering the cockpit of his personal X-Wing, The Dragon King, Topshot was immediately greeted by his silver-tinted R6M3, the most advanced astromech to date.

Programmed with an internal voice box, R6 happily welcomed his master back to the ship.

R6:"Welcome back, Master Topshot. How was the interview with
Katarn07?"

Topshot:"Quick. Rodian scum attacked us, we blasted 'em."

R6:"Oh my!"

Topshot:"Yeah. I know. Received any information yet on this
Teraytiro Rodiar guy?"

R6:"As of yet, I have no such information. I do, however, have information on this Katarn07....."

Topshot:"Cut the talk. I know about him already. My brother Obi Bond worked with one of his agents, Klai Finn."

R6:"Do you.......trust him?"

Topshot:"Yeah. If he's a friend of Klai Finn, then I trust him.
Anyways, prepare for take-off. I'm getting tired of this
chatter......"

R6:"As you wish, Master........."

And with the request for take-off processed, Topshot had taken the precaution of adjusting his safety strap and sent a fax for the coordinates of where Katarn07 may be heading......"

Topshot whispers to himself,"I have a feeling this is gonna take a long time to complete an operation this big........"

[Katarn07]

Wra'fo sat behind the controls of the Sable Dove as he moved out of a traffic lane and opened a channel to his comrades, "Our first lead is in the industrial sector. A dealer was captured two days ago and leaked some info about a warehouse where a client had set him up and took his merchandise. It seems there are some people after the drugs. My job is to stop them. Luka will want to as well. As long as he has the drugs, there is a chance he can get Gunny in his sights."

He lands the ship and both he andf Katarn07 get out and await the others' arrival.

*Ding sends a message to Katarn07 with all the known info on the drug attached*

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire spots the Sable Dove and lands the Slave II next to it.

The ramp of the Slave II opens and Zofire walks out. R9 quickly follows Zofire.

She then says to Katarn07 and Wra'fo, "There is someone with me that is on my ship."

With that said, Waylander exits the ship.

[Katarn07]

Wra'fo narrows his eyes, "We've met."

Katarn07 takes out his PDA which is beeping indicating some new info has been uploaded to it.

"Hmm. This shall come in handy. NRI has sent me... something that should come in handy."

He hands the pad to Wra'fo who nods at the good news, is about to pass it on, but Katarn07 intercepts it, "I'll take that."

He avoids eye contact with Topshot and Zofire after denying them access to the new info. He turns to Wra'fo, "Well. Intelligence says the drugs were in a warehouse... a klic from here? We'll look around there. The gang that hit Luka's men couldn't have taken all the drugs in one visit."

They set off to the warehouse.

Upon arriving, Katarn07 enters first and is immediately shot at by a human on a catwalk in the shadows above. The blast hits his mecanical arm and does not injure him.

"Go! I'll cover you!" He yells as he rips out his saber and ignites the yellow blade.

The shots for the most part are deflected, allowing Katarn07's party to get cover in the warehouse and point their own weapons at the mysterious attacker. Before they can attack, the man is gone. But before doing so, a datapad drops from his belt.

Katarn07 runs over and picks it up. The thing is aged and rusted, some mold is forming over an emblem on the back. He wipes off the residue with a finger to see a Bantha Skull, the same symbol on Zofire's necklace. He puts it away before anyone arrives to him. He turns to them, "Alright. We should begin to search this place for the drugs."

After landing the Dragon King next to the Sable Dove and the Slave II , Topshot had received Katarn07 commands, but had to question his motives for not giving out any data.

What's he planning? Hmmm, that question puzzle me at the moment........

Topshot:"Alright, let's begin. R6, scan the area for any active activity."

R6:"As you wish, my lord......."

A constant beep noise flutters on as R6 performs an Area Scan. After the beeping stopped, R6 has received the information.

R6:"Sector 6! Go now!"

Topshot:"Right. Waylander, Zofire....... take R6 with you. I'm heading to Sector 6! Report any information you find to me through R6's internal Commlink system!"



Topshot rushes off to sector 6 and awaits for further information from R6 and Waylander.

[Katarn07]

The party is searching the warehouse when Wra'fo finds a trap door leading to a cellar. He goes inside to find 4 crates scattered about and some white powder littered on the floor. He picks up a datapad to see there was originally 3 dozen crates there.

He frowned, "Jeez, Gunny. Whoever hit this place took no time in daudling. They got almost the entire cargo!"

There was an awkward pause. Katarn07 shouts up the tube to the others, "Hey, come on down, guys!"

Wra'fo speaks, "Do you think that guy that tried to kill us was returning for the loot?"

"No. I know who he was. He was..."

The rest of the party entered, and Katarn07 spoke after a breif pause, "He was an assassin for Luka. Not to great; sloppy work. We'd best search for some evidence."

Katarn07 finds an amulet on a rare chain and shows it to the others, "What do you make of this?"

"That's Corusca, Gunny. It is found in the Yavin system and a few mining operations on the outerim. Very rare and valuable."

"What is this metal?"

"Looks like... white gold. Also worth quite a bit around these parts."

"We'll take it and the crates to NRI HQ. We'll have Ding's men track down some locations for Corusca gems. Mines, dealers, whatever it takes. We have to find those drugs before Luka does."

Two assailants jump into the cellar, blasters drawn, "He may not need those drugs, buddy. I think we'll be getting that hefty bounty. Kill them!"

The Trandoshan and femal Twi'lek attack. The Twi'lek strikes a resemblence to the hunters that Zofire had killed on Nar Shaddaa (see The Hunt for Teraytiro Rodiar by NeoVenom).

The party is forced to take cover behind the crates and the Twi'lek rushes Zofire and points the muzzle of the blaster in the girl's face, "This is for my sisters, you Womp!"

The Trandoshan covers the blue Twi'lek and manages to hit Waylander's shoulder and Katarn07's biological left arm. Wra'fo is out of reach of his blaster.

The Twi'lek begins to pull the trigger.

[Alberdarek]

Waylander slips a small, double winged crossbow from under his cloak and fires two bolts into the Twi'lek's neck, who gurgles before slumping to the floor.

Commanding Officer (CO):You busy?
Ding: no, not really.
CO:we got a job for you
Ding: what is it?
CO:help Katarn07 and his party out
Ding: Already on it, he's raiding a werehouse right now
CO: I mean physicaly.
Ding: well, it's my first mission.
CO: we know that, but you haven't exactly set the world on fire yet.
Ding:i'll take it, nothing to do here anyway

[Katarn07]

The Trandoshan retreats and Katarn07 runs to Zofire, "Are you alright?!"

The girl is ghost white, but has not sustained any physical injuries. He motions to the others, "Let's get outta here."

On the way to HQ, Katarn07 contacts Topshot, "Hey, meet us at the following coordinates."

After showing the group the HQ, he goes to the lab and meets with Jan Ors. She smiles, "Hey, Gunny. We have the lab results for you."

"Great. Why are you in this department?"

"Ding asked me to be here. One of his men in feeling a bit under the weather. I took his place as computer tech. So, shall we?"

"Yeah. What'd you find out?"

"That Corusca has been refind with another rare element, much more rare than Corusca gems. It is called Harmonium. It is found on Ord Katrassi, a small Remnant Colony...."

"I know the place."

"You do?"

"Yeah. You know Klai Finn?"

"Oh, right. He's from that place. I hear he just took out his brother's organization?"

"That's right. But it was weird. He tells me it seems that nothing was accomplished. He met a foe there; Force sensitive. He was after Klai..."

"Hmm. Well, I'd keep an eye out for him because you'll be heading for the mine, several thousand klics from Takara's base. Located in the heart of a hospitable region known as the La Diabla Badlands. You guys can start there. Alright?"

"Yeah, but we better get some rest tonight, don't you think guys?"

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire nods and says, 'Yeah, I'm feeling a bit tired. I'm going to head to Kostar's place. See you tomorrow."

With that said, Zofire and R9 board the Slave II and head's to Kostar's home.

Topshot:"Yeah, I think I'll turn in for the night also. Later......"

Topshot runs out the door and jumps into the captain's seat of his ship, pulls out a cloak, and falls to sleep.

[Katarn07]

The following day, the ships begin to land in the purple rocked desert known as the La Diabla Badlands.

Katarn07 and Wra'fo exit the Sable Dove and see the other two ships land. Off in the distance is a mine shaft enterance. Katarn07 awaits Zofire, R9, Topshot, and Waylander to exit their own ships to discuss what they will do.

[topshot]

R6 pilots the Dragon King (now dubbed the Swift Falcon) to the coordinates Katarn07 had programmed into R6's data bay.

Topshot is still sleeping when his holo-clock alarm goes off.

"Wake Up! Wake Up! Wake! Wake........"

His fist broke the clock into a trillion tiny pieces.

"Annoying clock........"

[Darth NeoVenom]

When the Slave II landed, Zofire and R9 exits the ship. Zofire then approaches to where Katarn07 and Wra'fo are located at.

Zofire asks to both of them, "So what are we going to do again?"

[Katarn07]

Katarn07 shrugs, "Not sure Zo..."

He turns to the mines, "We probably should look around the complex and mine shafts. We need to find some evidence of this gang and if the drugs are here. If not. We need to find out where they have it. We need to do all that before Luka's men do."

Luka sat in a chair in his office when a monitor began to flash. He keyed a switch, "What is it? Oh, it's you. What news do you have?"

A voice responds, "I had him at the warehouse, but he pulled out a saber! I had to get outta there..."

"Quite alright. I understand. Did you track them?"

"Of course. I planted a little something for them to look out on the outer rim for the drugs."

"Oh? Fascinating. You will get the credits after I set an ambush for them."

"They are on Ord Katraasi."

"I will have my men get Katarn07 then. Farewell."

[topshot]

Topshot:"R6, has Ding or Katarn07 sent any urgent messages I should know of?"

R6:"As of yet, still no information. Though I have intercepted what looks like Imperial code........"


Topshot:"What the.......? Show me!"

*R6 feeds the information into Topshot's synthetic left hand (the one concealing a special blaster), giving him the information.*

Topshot:"This doesn't look good for us, R6. Shall we inform the
others?"

R6:"It would seem like a good idea to do so.........."

Topshot:"All right..........."

*Opens commlink communication with Katarn07 and the others.*

Topshot:"Katarn, they've put out a warrant for me and my brothers, Bond and Zehro. They're saying we put those drugs on the market! The ones you were talking about. What's it called again?"

[Darth NeoVenom]

"May I suggest that all of us search different parts of the mine? This was we can cover more ground." Zofire says to everyone.

[Katarn07]

"Wra'fo, you take them all into the mines. R9 and I will look around the complex. I can use his sensors to be sure there are no traps set up for me there. I am sure there is likely to be some sort of struggle."

Zofire, Wra'fo, and Waylander leave for the mine shafts while R9 and Katarn07 head for the complex.

On the way, he gets Topshot's message. He looks around, "The NRI has called it 7687. I forgot the official name... We'll finish up here and then head to your location. Where are you?"

Topshot has no time to answer because Katarn07 comlink is blown away from his hand. A man in old white, plastoid armor stands before him with a blaster with smoke coming from the end. He smiles, "Hello there. This will be easier than I thought."

R9 begins to shriek, but a well placed bolt blows R9's top off. Katarn07 crouches to examine the wreck. R9 had had reinforced armor. The blaster used was super powerful and obviously illegal. Katarn07 puts up his hands and is redirected aboard a ship that the man leads him too.

"Who are you?"

"I was a Lt of Jabba the Hutt. When he died, I went to work for Takara. Then Rodiar. I was fired, and have been here the rest of my life, but now work for Luka. I have been behind Rodiar's bnack for years now..."

Katarn07 feels a dark presence nearby and furrows his brow as he fingers his saber hilt, concealed from the man's view, "You wouldn't happen to be Force-sensitive, would you?"

"Yes, as a matter of fact, I am... I haven't used a saber against a single well trained opponent. Except one. He killed me..."

"Killed you?"

"Yes. Don't think of life in such 2 dimensional terms, Katarn. I practice Dark Arts of the Sith to keep me alive..."

"Who killed you?"

"A friend of some NRI agent named Klai Finn..."

"You're the 'Darkman'?"

"I guess so. Shut up now, and let me do my job."

Darkman takes the ship off the planets surface.

Wra'fo listens to the conversation on his comlink, "Wow... I can't believe it."

He looks to Zofire, "I installed a comlink into his saber. Pretty handy I think. I'll look for the drugs. Go get Gunny. You know I'm no good as a fighter pilot or in a fire fight...."

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire sprints towards her ship, but before heading towards the ramp, she sees that R9 has been shot. Luckily, R9 armor saved him but it sustained damage. Zofire helps R9 on the ship and contacts Wra'fo.

She says, "Does Gunny have a tracking device of some sort or is there any way for me to track him? Oh wait, I can still see the ship from a distance."

Zofire then starts up her Slave II and takes it off towards the direct of the ship that Katarn07 is on.

[Katarn07]

Wra'fo replies, "If they jump to hyperspace, zero in on these coordinates. That is Gunny's tracking device, also found in his saber..."

[Darth NeoVenom]

"Okay." Zofire replies.

With that said, Zofire follows the ship.

[topshot]

Topshot:"Katarn's commlink must be inactive for some reason. R6, give me the last whereabouts of where Katarn was headed."

7687, he thought, Hmmm.......

R6:"Ord Katrassi."

Topshot:"Katrassi, eh? That was the last world my brother was
on when he was helping Klai enact revenge against his
brother. It was also the location where Klai and my
brother had faced a Dark Jedi that could drain the
powers from almost anything. I wonder if he found a
solid a lead......."

R6:"One other thing.......he's been captured......"

Topshot:"What?! By whom?"

R6:"Sources indicate that a man in plastoid armor had lead an
unknown Dark Jedi to Katarn's current location. The rest
remains a mystery........"

Topshot:"This Dark Jedi , did he have a name or anything?"

R6:"Yes, the very same Dark Jedi whom your brother and Klai had
fought 4 years ago. His nickname was......"

Topshot:"Darkman, I know. Listen, set a course for Ord Katrassi.
It's finally time to the finish job of which my brother
couldn't......"

R6:"Right away, as you wish master....."

The Swift Falcon goes into overdrive, rocketing away from Pyr Sector.

[Katarn07]

Katarn07 saw the Slave II from the port window he was next to and looked back to Darkman.

He smiled, "What kind of armor you got there? That's no stormtrooper armor..."

"Actually it is. It was the Republic Stormtrooper uniform used during the Clone Wars. I fought during the war..."

"Really?" Katarn07 said, "You escaped the Jedi Purge?"

"I was fighting for the Empire. I was one of the Dark Jedi under the military genious General Mohc's division."

"Mohc?"

"Yes. General Rom Mohc, the man that was killed by your host years ago when he destroyed the Dark Trooper project."

"I didn't know he commanded Jedi in the Purge."

Slave II is closer now, and the conversation Katarn07 has started is distracting Darkman.

Darkman nodded, "Yes, he did. He fought alongside of them until the Emperor replaced him with his apprentice. He was the man that inspired me to be what I am..."

"Did you die in the War?"

"Too many times to count. If it were not for the healing powers of the Sith Lords, I would be another casualty of the War."

"I see. So..." Slave II has been picked up on sensors. Darkman spins to see the ship approaching, "Hmm, I had no clue Zofire accompanied you."

"How do you know Zo?"

"I just do. Buckle up. I was hoping I was not going to have to kill her so soon."

Darkman turns the ship and aims his ion cannons at Slave II and fires. Slave II is disabled. Darkman smiles, "This is tooooo easy!"

[topshot]

Receiving contact from Zo, Topshot put his ship into more than overdrive, going beyond speeds that no other ship could handle, and arrived just in time to see her ship blow to pieces.

No! he had thought, Her ship's self-detonation has been activated! I better do something drastic!

He then puts on a space-breathing utility and quickly swims away to her ship, carrying an extra space rebreather. For some reason, he could not sense her life signs........

I hope she survived this...... he wished silently, You'll pay for this sin, Dark man. You'll pay dearly for this.........


He gets back to the ship before using the Force to toss a tracer onto the Dark man's transport carrier. The tracer goes into a stealth mode.

Topshot:"R6, how's the tracer working?"

R6:"Successfully, though I'm afraid they're bound to find it sometime......"

Topshot:"Don't worry. I install cortosis shielding and yslamiri blood into all my devices!"

(Out of Character: Wait a minute, ion cannons can not set off the self-detonators of anything, they disable all electrical circuits...thus shuting off self-detonators. Plus, Zofire's ship doesn't have such a thing. What I've heard of, no ships have self-detonators. You can like fire shots at like the enemy's ship to distract him, thus preventing Darkman from firing shots at the Slave II. I'll post after you post..if I misunderstood what you typed, then my apologies :D)

OCC: Neo's right about you doing that. I am GM, but I'll allow this to happen, just cause I really don't wanna wait for the corrections. I have come up with a SWish explaination...


Katarn07 watches as the Slave II begins to shake violently. He feels soething is wrong. He couldn't sense Zofire. He frowned.

Darkman shook his head, "She's alive, I assure you. My powers are clouding yours. She won't be for long, however. I planted a virus in her electrical circuits so that my ion cannons would overheat her power grid and cause the ship to implode. It will be lessened int a pile of scrap soon..."

"There's no way she can get out in time?"

"No. And your friend that went in there to get her won't leave alive either."

Katarn07 continued to watch the ship. Its hull plating began to bulge under the pressure of a building implosion, but then it stopped.

Darkman frowned. Katarn07's brow furrowed and he shouts to his captor, "What happened?!"

"I don't know..." Darkman looked at the sensors and sees Topshot's ship. He fires several shots at its sensors and disables the scanners temporarily and Darkman jumps to hyperspace, heading fro Coruscant.

Wra'fo wiped the beads of sweat from his forehead and wiped of sweaty palms and turned to Waylander, "I did it. It wasn't easy, but I did it. Zofire would have been killed had I not shut down her ship's electrical systems. There must have been a virus in there that ion cannons triggered. Gunny's captor must have planted it there. They're fine. We have t find that evidence and find a ship to leave this planet. They will save Gunny, I am sure..."

A moderate impact of ion blasts hit Topshot's ship.


Topshot:"It's lucky that the Swift Falcon has 3 layers of anti-ion coating. The blasts dented it, and the scanners would only be temporarily disabled for 5 minutes, so what can I do?"

R6:"Hang on, I'll switch the scanners to auxiliary power. That
should allow for less recovery time........"

Topshot:"R6, what would I ever do without you?"

R6:"You'd be dead if it weren't for me!"

Topshot:"Only 3 more minutes until the scanners reach optimal performance. Guess I'll just have to wait here, since that last blast disabled my auxiliary and main hyperdrive engines for 7 more minutes......."

[Darth NeoVenom]

After R9 fixed the electrical circuits, Zofire takes a deep breath and says to R9 "Thankz R9. For a moment there I almost lost my life. I wonder what happened. Did you did something R9?"

R9 whistles and beeps in response. Zofire then thinks for a while.

She then contacts Wra'fo through Slave II's comm system, "Wra'fo, come in Wra'fo. The ship that Katarn07 was aboard on went into hyperdrive."

[Katarn07]

"I figured they get away, but I had to help you out fast. I think I have found something. There are logs in the computer about a warehouse on Coruscant. I think this location is just a refinery of Corusca..."

Wra'fo leaves the complex with his companions and looks to the sky where Slave II is coming into view. He talks to topshot, "Be sure to get Gunny. Zofire will pick us up down here and we will investigate the warehouse I found."

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire lowers the Slave II on the hanger and opens the ship's ramp door. She then walks out and spots Wra'fo not far from where she is. R9 goes to where Zofire is standing.

[topshot]

Topshot:"Don't worry, Wra'. I'll bring him back alive! R6, how are
the hyperdrive systems doing?"

R6:"Any moment now, and they should be ready to take off
whenever you feel you are ready."

The engines send a beeping noise to R6's data bank.

R6:"They are ready, but the scanners are still offline."

Topshot:"Can you hotwire them?"

R6:"I can try..........Hotwiring them now! Should take about half a
moment."

Whirring and whizzing sounds can be heard as R6 re-wires the scanner system. Finally, a chiming noise sounds off, and the scanners are at full efficiency

R6:"They're working now. The tracer has located them at point 87AU9XF5 on the planet of Bandomeer!"

Topshot:"Good. Wra'fo, meet us at the Kass Empire Crime
Syndicat base on Bandomeer. They must be taking him
there!"

[Katarn07]

Wra'fo runs aboard the ship with her, "Here are Gunny's coordinates. We're going here though, to this warehouse... The drugs are there."

Katarn07 and Darkman sit in silence until a datapad falls from Katarn07's pocket. Darkman gets it before Katarn07 can and rubs the grime off the screen and snarls at Katarn07, "You found this?!"

"Yeah, at the warehouse when you tried to kill me..."

"I would have too. So, you know who I am now?"

"I know you know more about me and Zofire than I had thought..."

"I know more about her than you do, Katarn. Let's just say I have had my eye on a few people in the galaxy. Your friend Klai Finn is one of him. He is Force-sensitive, you know?"

"No, I was unaware of that..."

"He doesn't either. I also have had my eye on your friend Zofire Fett..."

"What's so special about Zo?"

"Her last name. It gets me thinking about the whole Fett/ Mereel heritage."

"Mereel?"

"You know Boba's real name, Jaster Mereel?"

"No... Does Zo?"

"Yes, she does. She just learned of her true heritage a few days ago..."

"That pad you took away from me had that family tree on it, along with some orders from Luka."

"Well, I was unaware I dropped this. I am afraid you'll have to sleep for the rest of the trip." Darkman takes out his blaster and stuns Katarn07 and returns to his piloting.

As Slave II travels through hyper space, Zofire gets a message addressed to her.

Zo,

I saw you were attacked, but had my own "clients" to deal with at the time. I hope you are all right. I know I am late with this message, but I have been busy. I have checked in at NRI HQ and they told me you were coming back to Coruscant soon. I thought I might help you and your friends out a leg of the journey, and then possibly take you to Concord Dawn to meet the rest of the remaining family. Respond ASP.

Wra'fo gets topshot's message and responds, "Sorry, you are on your own there. We will go to Coruscant to Luka. That is where he will be delivered. I am sure Gunny's captor is trying to throw us off. Do your best in getting him there though and update your progress when appropriate."

Zofire sends a message to Brad Mereel.

It reads as the following:

I think it would be great to have extra help. After we're done rescuing Katarn07, I will go with you to Concord Dawn to meet up with my mother. My real mother....

Zofire then says to Wra'fo, "We are almost there. We are a few clicks away from Gunny's coordinates.

Topshot:"Figures. At least we can part both ways for now. I will
head for Bandomeer, while you go Coruscant and do
your thing. I will send both you and Ding whatever
information I may find. Good luck, and may the force be
with you, friends. This is Neo Rogue Commander
Topshot, signing out."

He turns off his commlink and heads out from his private air base in pursuit of Katarn07 and Darkman.

R6:"Perhaps it will be necessary if we bring along a couple allies."

Topshot:"That may be a good idea. I believe that we should
along the way, just in case he releases a fully armed
battalion of Kass Troopers. We'll have to radio and hire
Neo Rogue Squadron, sometime along the way........"

R6:"Perhaps your brother, Seph?"

Topshot:"Maybe so, but he's just a rookie pilot. We'll need my
other brother Bond to help us. Hopefully, he can contact
Katarn's buddy, NRI Mercenary Klai Finn and fill him in on
the latest information."

R6:"I will send a transmission out to NRI HQ and the Bond &
Havoc Sniper Academy. What would you like me to say?"

Topshot:"Tell 'em Katarn's been kidnapped, and that we need
some information on 7687 and what it can do."

R6:"Will do, sir. Processing transmission now........"

[Katarn07]

Klai Finn sits behind the controls of Katarn07's alternate ship, a YT-1800 Celphi called the Savrip Strike.

He recieves the info from topshot and responds, "I'll be there in less than an hour or so. This bucket of bolts is fast enough. I have filed a report about 7687 and got limited info on it. All I know is it controls the mind. Katarn07 said that he knows someone called jokemaster that he is a victim of the drug and has no memory of the death of Rodiar, the mastermind behinf 7687."

Finn takes the ship into hyperspace toward Bandomeer.

Katarn07 awakens in a small chamber in a warehouse. Luka is standing on a catwalk above him with Darkman beside him. Luka turns to his associate, "You have another job to do. This was only the first part of my assignment to you."

"I know. The girl escaped. They have more help than they did when they were after Rodiar. They had Katarn07's back. I had to do everything in my power to get him here."

"Well, get her by the end of the week. If you don't..."

"I will. I planted some coordinates in the mining complex's computers. She and her green skinned pal should arrive soon. Also, I sent his possesions to a friend of mine's at Bandomeer. He said he'll take care of anyone that might be tracking him."

"You're more resourceful than I had expected. Get to those coordinates and get her here..."

"They've got plent of friends in the NRI. I am sure they will be meeting some there. I am only one man..."

"You have been killed many times before in your existance. This is no different. You can use your death as a way to mask your presence."

"Hmmm," Darkman nods, "I think I have a plan..."

Wra'fo, Zofire, and Waylander arrive to the coordinates. A ship is awaiting them and Brad Mereel appears. He runs to Zofire, "I got your message. So, we're looking for some drugs? Shouldn't be too hard."

Wra'fo frowns, "That is the first part of my mission. I've got a friend to save, afterwards."

Brad nods, "Well, I'll help if Zofire still wants to. We'd better..."

Blaster fire erupts from the empty warehouse and Brad falls to the ground with a wound on his back, "Get down!"

Wra'fo pulls Zofire to the ground and covers her. Waylander falls to the ground, unconcious.

Finn arrives at Bandomeer and meets topshot as he unholsters twin DL-44s. He nods, "You're the brother of Obi-Bond? This isn't going to be easy. Are you expecting any more help, or should this be done in a stealth matter?"

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire quickly takes cover from her ship. She then says to Wra'fo, "Quickly, take cover."

Zofire then takes out her modified Disruptor rifle, and peeks around the corner. She quickly takes cover again as shots barely missed her head.

(Out of Character: Since Zofire looked around. How many people are there and like what are they?)

Topshot:"Yeah, I sent a message to Bond too, but he's busy with
another matter. I'm still waiting for a reply from our
other, much younger brother, Seph."

Three heavily armored Kass troopers appear behind Topshot's back. He knows that they are behind him, but is testing Klai to see if the stories were true.......

[Katarn07]

Klai nods and responds, "Well, Bond is enoguh, but any other blood relatives is good as well."

He looks around, "So, where should we go to start looking for Gunny?" He doesn't wait for a reply, but instead holds up both blasters and firesd shots at the enemies and downs one. He must use supression fire to keep the rest at bay. Once they begin their own attack, Klai takes cover behind a crate and continuously fires at the armors' weakpoints. He downs one more, but is forced to reload.

Klai is picked up by the Kass and hurled to the ground. He moans aloud in pain and trys to pick up his blaster, but it is crushed by the attacker. He then places the heel of his foot in the Kass's groin and downs his attacker. Scrambling for his other blaster, Klai is allowed enough time to fire a single shot between the Kass's eyes.

Klai wipes off some dust from his outfit and turns to topshot, "So? Where should we go to start coordinating our plan to rescue Gunny?"

Zofire is able to see 3 attackers from some windows of the warehouse. They are all Rodians, most likely Luka's thugs. There are more attackers, but have complete defilade from any attempted attacks Zofire might try.

Wra'fo drags Waylander and Brad behind Zofire and looks to her, "Secure that warehouse! I'll make sure these too are alright!"

Wra'fo rips open the mens' shirts and frowns, "This is not good at all..." He supplies some bacta patches and puts them on Waylander, the more seriously wounded man. Brad hisses through clenched teeth, "I'm fine! Let him have them... Zofire, I know you will be able to get that warehouse secure. Act fast."

The Rodians continue their attack, and all reload at the same time, giving Zofire an oppurtunity to make her move.

After meeting Klai, Topshot had some information as to where they should start.

Topshot:"There's a weapons storage unit in an abandoned military armory near the Kass army base. It should provide us with any kind of attack modules. It is also the base of an old battle droid factory that makes improved versions of the old Trade Federation battle droids that attacked Naboo. We should start there....."

[Katarn07]

Luka sat in his chambers and awaited for a reply from Darkman's friend in Bandomeer.

"Ahh, Luka. I have just gottne back from... buisness and got your call."

"Yes. I am sure your friend has informed you of your company?"

"Yes, yes he did. Don't worry. They are no trouble to us. He said he knows one of them from a previous encounter, and he is a formidable foe. Nothing my army can't handle though..."

"Army? Few dozen guards is more like... And if your friend was defeated by these guys, they must be good. I want you to be sure they don't leave your place alive!"

"Don't worry. I have an ambush set up for them. While they deal with that, there ships will be... disabled."

"I am head of a large criminal organization too; you can cut the crap!"

"Fine. I'll destroy their ships and ensure no friends of theirs can arrive either."

"That's more like it! Contact me when you have their heads on your desk..."

Luka shuts off the computer and contacts Darkman.

Wra'fo takes out a thermal detonator and throws it at the warehouse. He takes Zofire by the arm and pulls her along, "No time for sniping them, we'll pick them off as we work our way to the drugs..."

Zofire turns to the others lefty behind, but Wra'fo frowns, "Brad is dead. He took quite a few hits. Waylander won't last much longer if we can't get him medical attention within the hour. That means we must work fast."

Darkman takes out his comlink, "What?"

"Are you in position yet?"

"Yeah, just got here. It seems they have already gotten into the complex. They won't be leaving. I have rigged her ship with a few dozen thermal detonators that will go off if they attempt to take it off the hangar deck. Her droid is... out of commision as well."

"You destroyed it?!"

"No, I know you want that too. I used a Ion Pulsar Blaster on him. His power couplings are also in my pocket."

"Good. Remember, I want her alive."

"It looks like only the Rodian got in with her. What of him?"

"Do as you please with him. Kill him if you wish."

"Alright. Wait, I gotta go. They're on my level now."

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire cautiously enters the warehouse and takes out her modified E-11 blaster rifle. She whispers through clenched teeth, "They are going to die for what they have commited. All of them."

She quickly hides out of view from anyone and motions to Wra'fo to head her way. She then whispers to Wra'fo, "They most likely have cameras around this whole place. We got to knock out those cameras so that they can not know where we are heading."

She looks around the ceiling and whispers, "Luckily, there are no cameras here. You have any detonators that knock out electrical circuits? I have four with me."

[Katarn07]

"No, but those will do for a while. I would have to take out the security manually. Cover me on my way there, then go look for the drugs and take out any resistance you encounter. Once you find the drugs, get them out to your ship and signal for me to come."

Wra'fo follows Zofire through the warehouse to the security room. A Rodian sits in a chair looking at the monitors while drinking a mug of java juice.

Wra'fo knocks him out with a blow to the back of the neck and nods to Zofire, "I can handle things from here. Maybe we should locate the drugs first."

He skims a monitor screen and points to a map, "Alright, they're on the top floor, four stories up. Do take care of yourself. This place is probably full of guards. Try to use stealth as you make your way to the drugs. Then, you can run like all hell as you escape to your ship."

Wra'fo then sits down and disables the cameras and alarms, "Alright. You're on your own."

Klai Finn and Topshot arrive to their designated location. Klai looks to Topshot, "You are familiar with this place. Lead the way. We must act fast before Gunny and his captor escape."

Yugasko, the Trandoshan friend of Darkman, watches the two on a monitor and smiles, "Close the blast doors and deploy your men. Are their ships rigged yet?"

"Yes sir, but a droid spotted us and an alarm went off."

"Did you destroy it?"

"No, sir. We did our best to destroy him, but he took the ship out of the hangar."

"Deploy a squadron to take it out. What of Finn's transport?"

"We rigged it to blow once it is powered up. It'll destroy that entire sector and make it look like an accident."

"Good. Leave. Get Finn and his companion now."

"Yes, sir."

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire cautiously heads out of the room that Wra'fo is in and goes quickly in the shadows. She then walks very silently towards stairs and wait patiently in the shadows to see if anyone is coming up or is heading down. She presses a switch and her wrist blades are slide out.

[Katarn07]

"What was that?"

"What was what?"

The two Rodians shrug, "Probably your imagination."

They continue their way up the stairs with their backs toward Zofire.

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire quickly run up behind one Rodian and stabs him with both blades right on the spin. Then she quickly stabs the other Rodian in the chest with one blade and stabs the other blade in the Rodians throat preventing him from screaming. Zofire then drag the two bodies and stuffs them in a closet. She then booby-traps the closet with a thermal detonator. She quickly jumps up the stairs and hides behind some crates on the second level, out of sight.

She has reached the third floor, which is heavily guarded. An E-WEB Blaster Cannon mounted on a tripod hangs out the window. It was most likely responsible for the attack that wounded Brad and Waylander.

5 guards stand, their backs are all turned. There is no way to deal with them with her blades. She must use a different weapon in her aresenal.

Behind the guards is the next flight of steps to the top floor, where the drugs are kept.

Zofire quickly takes out her modified disruptor rifle. She looks carefully were they all are. She then takes aim and five shots are fired quickly to each Rodian.

[Katarn07]

Wra'fo contacts Zofire, "Hey, you've been spotted. There are 20 or so guards on the level below you. 10 are headed for me, the others for you. I'll do what I can. I have a trick or two up my sleeve yet. Get to the drugs, fast."

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire quickly throws two thermal detonators down the stairs from which she came up and quickly runs up the flight of stairs. As she running, she quickly contacts R9, "R9 prepare the ship. R9...R9..."

Zofire sees a crate full of bags of which it seems to be the drug. She quickly grabs one bag and turns on her jetpack.

She quickly contacts Wra'fo, "Wra'fo something is wrong with R9. He's not responding back. I think they did something to him while we were entering the warehouse."

Zofire then takes out her twin pistols and flies towards the hanger. She backs away and hide behind some crates.

"Something is up. Why aren't there any Rodians outside my ship?" Zofire whispers to herself.

She quickly contacts Wra'fo, "I think they booby traped my ship."

She tries to contact R9 again and whispers, "R9, come out of the ship."

R9 does not come out of the ship. Now she knows that something has happened to R9. That something is fishy.

[Katarn07]

The 10 Rodians are all killed in the blast.

The other 10 grab Wra'fo and haul him away. Wra'fo screams out, "Get outta here Zofire! Run!"

Darkman appears and takes out his blaster, aims it at Wra'fo, and pulls the trigger. A blast hole appears in the Rodian's chest and he falls to the ground. Darkman turns to the others, "Hmm, I don't hear any explosion. She must know something is up. Where is that droid?"

"We already sent him to Luka, sir. Why must he be intact?"

"I am not at librety to say. Get this corpse on the ship; I don't want NRI finding one of their agents here dead. They might track us..."

Zofire awaits a response from Wra'fo, when the hangar's roof is shut, and all doors are sealed off with a blast door. Out from a shadowy corner, Darkman emerges with a red lightsaber aglow.

He smiles, "This is easier than I had thought. I thought I was going to have to track you all the way to Concord Dawn with your cousin to get you. Barely anyone to care there... But, now that I have got you."

He charges towards her, his saber up to defend any blaster fire attacks Zofire might perform.

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire looks around and spots a speeder. She has to make sure that Darkman doesn't follow her.

Zofire quickly says to herself, "Damn it, I didn't want to do this to my ship."

She activates the ships engine through a small computer device on her forearm. The ship explodes.

(Out of Character: If you want me to change this, I will.)

*Ding sees Wra-fo and follows darkman, hiding behind corners and making sure to keep his distance*

(OCC: It's your ship, you do whatever you please to it. I didn't want other people blowing it up for you. And, desperate times do call for desperate measures... Btw, this RPG is more focused on Darkman, Gunny, and you over everyone else...)

Darkman watches the girl hop on the speeder and speed away through the hole in the wall Slave II's explosion made. He watches in horror as she escapes... Luka would not be pleased.

Wra'fo awakens in a small cargo hauler in a pile of rubble. Those Rodian goons didn't care to make sure he was dead before disposing of the body. He ripped open his shirt and looked at the melted plastoid armor and frowned, "Any higher and that trick wouldn't have worked..."

He saw an R2 unit next to him. It was black and silver. He picked up a hydrospanner and fiddled with the droid, "Hold on R9, a simple shock to your power grid will get rid of that ion blast's affect."

R9 is activated and Wra'fo smiles, "Great. Now, we have to get to Zofire before Darkman and those Rodian goons get her. I hope Topshot is having better luck finding Gunny at Bandomeer."

Darkman arrives before Luka, "She got away."

"What?!"

"I can still get her if she goes to Concord Dawn."

"I thought you killed the man that would take her."

"I did. I can still get her to go there. She has never met her mother, and I know she would go with just about any one..."

"Not you, a man that has already tried to kill her."

"No, not me. But perhaps... a friend?"

"What do you mean?"

"Katarn07 has proven himself more than a friend to her, and vice versa. Perhaps we use the 7687 on Katarn07, deliver him to her, and then..."

"NO! That's to risky. If it doesn't, Katarn07 and Zofire will have gotten away."

"It worked once, didn't it? On that jokemaster fellow, I mean."

"Whatever became of him?"

"He isn't working for Katarn07, so the 7687 still must be in affect."

"Hmm. I am taking an aweful risk..."

"You will get Katarn07 and the girl, by the end of the month, I can assure you."

"OK. But if I don't, I'll have your head. And when you come back, I'll take it off again, and again, and again, until I die."

"I don't want to spen my existence like that, sir. You'll get them. Start administrating the drug, I'll get that 7687 deal wrapped up for NRI to call off their agents."

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire speeds off to some where far away from the warehouse. She stops to take a break and looks around. She is not far from a city, so she decides to head towards the busy city.

*a rodian burts into luka's office bleeding heavily*
Rodian: We found... jokemaster, he's still on corusant but they got to him first

[Katarn07]

(OCC: I am not sure if you know, but we are on Coruscant... Just speed to the area of it I guess)

Through his macro binoculars, Darkman watches Zofire speed through the traffic lanes and smiles to himself.

He removes a high powered sniper rifle, and takes aim at the bike. Carefully keeping the crosshair centimeters from the spoiler of the bike, he pulls the trigger.

It misses and hits a cargo hauler running alongside of her. He frowns. She is aware he is there now.

Zofire has time to move to another traffic lane and weave to make her a harder target to hit. From above, a head pops out of the cargo hauler, "Psst. Zofire!"

It is Wra'fo. He nods and yells, "Don't look. That goon will see me then. Follow this hauler. It'll lead to Luka. Return to NRI HQ then and inform them of Luka's position. Then we can get Gunny at Bandomeer, if he hasn't left for here already... By the way, I have found R9. He seems to be alright, just a few minor scrapes here and there. Nothing I can't fix on the way to Luka's base."

Luka gets up and grabs the Rodian by the collar. The Rodian is in extreme pain and screams as Luka commands, "Who got to him?! We can't have anyone finding our drugged victims. Who?!"

*Ding tries to get to wra-fo in the cargo hauler but gets hit in the leg by the sniper blast, and falls onto Zofires speeder*
Ding: It would be cool if i had been aiming here
*Ding passes out*

[Katarn07]

Wra'fo looks down, "Ding! Son of a Gundark! Zofire, try to drop him in here!"

The cargo hauler switches lanes, allowing Zofire to get her bike above the open bed of the hauler and drop Ding in. Wra'fo examines the wound, "It's not fatal. No wonder Ding never does field work. He passes out with a simple shot to the leg..."

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire whispers to Wra'fo, "What now?"

[Katarn07]

"Keep following us. When we arrive, take Ding with you and carry it out as planned. I could use R9 to scout ahead of Luka's base. His sensors will help out detect any guards nearby."

Luka wipes the blood from his hands and snaps his fingers to get some guards to take the dead Rodian away. He died before he could answer. Luka needed no answer. NRI had found jokemaster, and knew about him being drugged. They could trace it in the body and Katarn07 would no longer work.

"Hmm, Darkman?"

"Yeah?"

"Your plan has been compromised. I need you to get her still. Any ideas?"

"Yeah, I could still get Katarn07 to take her."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah. R2-R9 is on his way to your base. Zofire is following him. I can get Katarn07 out to get them to NRI HQ. Sound like a plan?"

"Yes. Get back here, fast."

[jokemaster]

*jokemaster wanders about, having taken the blaster from the dead rodian. A rodian comes out of an alley and starts asking him questions about his past. Once jokemaster responds that he doesn't know the rodian starts walking away. Suddenly the rodian grabs him, and knocks him out. He drags jokemaster back to his ship and takes him to Luka. Reporting that he doesn't remember anything he arrives at Luka's headquarters.*

[Darth NeoVenom]

"Make sure that this cargo hauler is not being traced Wra'fo. Also check if there are any tracer bugs on R9. Last thing we want is for them to know that we are heading over there." Zofire says to Wra'fo while looking ahead for traffic.

She then says to R9, "R9 , scan this speeder for me would you?"

R9 whistles and beeps. He then scans the speeder.

Zofire then takes out her datapad that is linked to R9's scanning system.

"This speeder is checked. No bugs on this thing."

[topshot]

Topshot:"I once worked for these guys, but things seemed to have changed when I joined the New Republic. Just stick close to me."

*Topshot and Klai reach the third ladder of the armory. They come into a room with multiple pathways.*

Topshot:"We to go through the left pathway, where we'll come into a long hallway. At the end of the hallway, we'll have reached another fork in the road. All the passage ways will be blocked, so we'll need to get a Kass trooper's supply key to get through. He'll probably be in the basement of the bio lab in section G-4. We'll need to get past every security trap that we encounter. IM mines, DET packs, anything that will prove to a problem. Got it?"

[Katarn07]

"I can disable any traps as the such, but I feel you should lead the way."

Klai follows Topshot, who will tell when there are mines present or not.

(OCC: You can bring in the baddies for this area, just don't destroy my ship and kill Klai...)

[topshot]

Topshot and Klai encounter 5 new-type battle droids, each installed with portable ion cannons and disruptor fields.

Topshot:"Thought they would send these things in......."

He then takes out a Heavy Disruptor Rifle and the fire-fight begins. Shots flying everywhere. Klai and Topshot dodging almost all 5 shots, but one hits Topshot, temporarily knocking him out.

Klai is the only one standing for now........

[jokemaster]

Rodian *to Luka*: Sir, one of our agents has brought jokemaster here, he claims jokemaster doesn't remember anything. Shall I call him in?

[Katarn07]

Klai plants his feet on the wall and runs on the vertical surface over the droids. He has his DL-44 out before the droids can all turn. 2 of them are down before they can even turn around.

They advance on him, blasters ablaze. Klai takes cover behind a crate and takes shots at random in the general direction of the droids. One more falls. The other 2 self destruct, blowing up the entire cooridor.

Klai and Topshot are thrown from the scene, badly burned. Klai uses his med kit on Topshot's wound who are more serious.

He turns around to the cooridor they are heading down, "If they can all do that, we don't stand a chance. These are 1st degree burns, but we couldn't sustain another blast like that. There has to be another way!"

Luka nods to the Rodian, "We can analyze him further. Rodiar was stupid not to..."

Wra'fo, Ding, R9, and Zofire arrive at Luka's base and assemble in an alley beside it. Wra'fo frowns, "There are security cameras all over! Ding and I can take them out given the proper distraction. We'd have to get to the security room, most likely in the heart of the base. You and R9 must find Luka and place him under arrest."

"Won't be necessary Wra'fo."

The party spins around to see Katarn07 standing in the doorway. He motions to the hauler, "Come on! We have to get out here. We need more agents to get to Luka; I barely escaped with my life..."

Wra'fo hugs Katarn07, "I really had my doubts about you being alive. I am glad you are here. All right, Gunny is always right. We'd best do what he says."

They get into the cargo hauler and take off to NRI HQ.

Katarn07 explains to them what happened, how they never went to Bandomeer and went straight to Coruscant. He was about to be administered some drugs when he killed the guards and fled for his life.

Wra'fo furrows his brow, "How did you get away without a blaster? Not even you could perform a stunt like that Gunny..."

"Stealth."

"That is not something you are known for..."

"Well, Wra'fo. I snuck through the ventalation shaft until I got to the lower level, then I ran for it."

Wra'fo shrugged, "I'll ask Ding to read your report when you give it to him. Did you find the drugs?"

"No. I didn't have time to look."

"You.. didn't... look?"

"No, Wra'fo, I didn't. There was nough in the room I awoke in. I could lay out a map and show you."

"Alright. We'll discuss this later."

Wra'fo sees the mechanical arm of Katarn07 does not have any carbon scoring on it that Darkman put there from their earlier encounter. He nudges to Zofire and shows that to her.

*The rodians start analyzing Jokemaster*

*Ding notices the missing carbon mark too and nods to Wra-fo, showing he notices it too*

Awaking from consciousness and smelling the wounds of burning flesh, Topshot looks over to Klai, then looks back over to the droids he dismantled.

Topshot:"You're right. We wouldn't be able to make it out alive if
these things spotted us! And there's something else.
Something I just felt......."

Klai:"And what is that exactly?"

Topshot:"I felt like.......we were being set up or something. Couldn't sense it through the Force, but.......I don't know if Gunny's really here or not. We'll have to keep looking around. There may be a secret antidote to that 7687 you and Katarn kept telling me about hidden somewhere here......"

Yugasko:"Do they suspect a thing?"

???:"Highly doubtful. Darkman is posing as Katarn as a distraction to throw off Topshot's force sensitivity, and as a decoy for our plans. By the way, how is our hostage doing?"

Yugasko:"He's out like a sleeping rancor. They'll have a hard time distinguishing the real Katarn from the imposter. We've done everything we could to copy the real one using a body scan, and Darkman's knowledge of the NRI. There's no way we will screw up!"

[Katarn07]

"So, Gunny. Did they fix up your arm or what?"

"What do you mean? This is the arm I got a few weeks ago after it was blown off while I was looking for Rodiar with you guys."

"Yeah, but it got pretty gnarled up when that guy who jumped you attacked us in that warehouse a few days ago."

"Well, I woke up with this arm, so I guess they did."

"Why would Luka, the man that wants to kill you, spend some of his own money to fix a arm when the man will be dead soon?"

"I don't question the actions of physco paths, Wra'fo, I just do my job and kill them."

"I see..." Wra'fo looks to see the NRI HQ coming into view and he thinks for a moment, then he turns to Katarn07, "Do you remember when my sister was killed Gunny?"

"Yeah. If it weren't for her death, you might still be a bounty hunter."

"Do you remember what I told you when she died?"

"Yeah. You swore revenge against the men that did it..."

"No, no I didn't. I didn't say anything to you. I got drunk that night and crashed my speeder into antoher one."

"Well, you said that afterwards."

"When you saved me from the wreck, and I was a bit more alert, right?"

"Right. I'll never forget that..."

"You didn't save me from that wreck. Kyle Katarn did. He knew me when I was an agent for the Rebellion." Wra'fo took out his E-11, "Who are you?"

Katarn07 changes to Darkman, and the man lunges at Wra'fo. Both of them fall out of the hauler, screaming on the way down to the planet's surface.

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire quickly turns on her jetpack and flies towards Wra'fo and Darkman. Zofire activates one of her wrist blade and stabs Darkman in the stomach making him let go of Wra'fo and slashes at his arm making Darkman let go of Wra'fo. She then grabs Wra'fo and flies towards the hauler as she sees Darkman falling.

[Katarn07]

Darkman ends his fall on a spike emerging from a garbage hauler. He looks at the wound, moans aloud as he sees the bloody wound, and then lays his head down, dead.

Wra'fo gasps for air as Zofire sets him beside her in the cargo hauler. He nods to her, "Thanks. Thanks alot. That was close. What do you suppose he was doing? Why was he with us? Who or what is he after?"

None of his questions are answered.

Klai shrugs, "There must be another way. Ventalation shafts would be to obvious. The blast doors are all closed, so we can't retrace our steps... How about a really big explosion. That'd work. We could get an explosion to set off a chain reaction in the power grid and the security would be out of order. We could use the manual releases on the blast doors, then. The problem is getting to the right spot to blow. We'd have to get to a power coupling. Any suggestions where we could find one?"

[jokemaster]

*Ding extends his hand to grab Wra-fo and Zofire*
Ding: Come on come on
*a blaster bolt flies past his face*
Ding: aw crap
*pulls out his blaster and shoots at a hover-car with a rodian sticking out the window shooting at them*

Zofire cleans her blade. She then looks at Wra'fo and says, "There are so many questions that have to be answered. You think it would be wise if I visit my real mother?"

Zofire remains silent and looks out at the traffic. She then takes off her helmet as tears roll down her cheeks.

"I hope she is alive."

[Katarn07]

Wra'fo has no time comfort Zofire, and instead covers her as he fires his E-11 at the attack sppeder. There are 3 more surrounding them. "Crap!"

Wra'fo took out the drivers of 2 of them, but the third one scores a hit to Wra'fo. It hits the armor that saved him earlier, but it wounds him enough so he can no longer defend any of them.

Topshot:"There's a power coupling two blocks left after we pass
the next security station or so."

*Hears a strange noise.*

Topshot:"What the heck was that?"

A steady humming sound can be heard in the background.

Klai:"From what I heard, that was a lightsaber or something........."

A Shadowtrooper stealthily sneaks up close to Klai. With no time to react, a mysterious figure de-heads the Shadowtrooper in one fell swoop with his own saber blade, then quickly disappears.

Topshot:"Who was that guy?"

[jokemaster]

Ding: Zofire take Wra-fo, I'll cover you
*ding shoots one of the speeders, blowing it up and providing a smoke-screen for Zofire's es ape*

"I don't know. This here was a shadowtrooper. My buddy Kyle Katarn took out that project a while ago... Hmm, angel on our shoulders. Hopefully. Let's getting moving."

They get to the power coupling and Klai sets a det pack on the coupling, "This is how agents prefer to blow up bases, you know. Plant some explosives on the good ol' power coupling."

He sets it for 3 minutes and Klai turns to Topshot, "We'd best move out of this area. Lead the way toward our destination."

With little time to spare, Topshot and Klai head back to the fork in the road where all but one of the blast doors was once locked. Now all of them are knocked out, allowing for freedom of passage.

Topshot:"One of these 4 doors should lead to the jail cells. The other 3 will be all but traps. I suspect that they'll be keeping Katarn there. After we release him, we'll need to keep going forward since we blew out that power coupling, meaning more of those droids may come after us. We'll need to know which door leads down the correct path. Got any infrared scanning devices handy on you?"

[Katarn07]

"No... But I do have a sense about these things."

He looks at the doors and points, "That is the correct one to escape. I am having trouble though. Usually, I can tell when my friends are close by. I don't sense Gunny..."

Topshot:"They must be hauling him off somewhere. We better just go to the lab in the basement of this armory. We should be able to find the antidote instead, and perhaps, maybe even Gunny....."

They then went to the bottom floor of the armory and encountered 4 stormtroopers, which seemed to be both taken out easily by the same mysterious person. They then looked,

Sure enough, we found the antidote 108702, but no Gunny...........,
Topshot thought.

Topshot:"They must've hidden him onboard one of the other ships we saw earlier in the cargo bay. We should probably check there........"

The mysterious person watches their actions from a nearby console screen.

???:"Good, they're heading to the cargo bay. I better go too, and 'disable' any of those weird droids we both saw....."

Zofire then grabs Wra'fo and says to Ding, "Come. R9 and I can grab both of you and land on one of those buildings over there."

With that said, Zofire turns on her jetpack and R9's booster come out of it'z leg.

"Hang on tight Ding." All of them exit the hauler and land on an edge of a building. Zofire then pulls Wra'fo into the shadows. R9 and Ding follow Zofire.

Zofire then says to R9, "R9, give me one of those bacta tanks and hands it to Wra'fo. "Here you go. This should help."

[Katarn07]

Wra'fo nods, "Thanks again. We'd best get to the NRI HQ."

He hails for a taxi. It arrives at the building with no trouble. Wra'fo heads off to the med bay, and leaves Ding, Zofire, and R9 to themselves in the main lobby.

Zofire says to Wra'fo before he leaves, "I have a bag of the drug."

A NRI analysist comes and sees Zofire with the bag and Ding, "Jeez, sir. You disappeared, Mon Mothma was getting worried." He looks to Fett, "I see you were able to obtain some of the 7687. Well, we'll analyze it and keep it here. Maybe we can get our scanners to pick itup and we'll run scans all over the planet."

Zofire hands the NRI analysist the bag. Her and R9 then walk around the lobby.

Hours later, Wra'fo returns with Jan Ors.

Jan nods to Zofire, "Well, that bag you found will speed this case up for us. Thank you very much for your help... it is much more important that Gunny's capture and he understands that your time on the case is worth more than his existance..."

Wra'fo storms out of the room. Jan turns to him, "Wra'fo... I hope he knows where he is going. Gunny and him have been close ever since Wra'fo's sister was killed, and now that he has lost another close one in his life, I am afraid of what he will do. Will you go after him and bring him back here? I doubt Gunny is even alive anymore, but we will still send some agents to free him..."

Wra'fo arrives at AJ's Place and goes straight through the restraunt area and to the bar. He slams down his wallet and looks to the Mon Calamari bartender, "How much Corellian Ale can I buy with this?"

"More than a Rodian's system could handle. Perhaps I can get you some..."

"No, a bottle of Corellian Ale will do."

Topshot and Klai arrive to see Topshot's X-Wing gone, and the Savrip Stike sitting there, rigged with explosives. Klai frowns, "Your droid must have saved your X-Wing from being rigged. Those ships aren't here, and according to the tracker in Gunny's saber, he i en route to Coruscant now... Let's disable those explosives. Klai goes to do it when 10 droids attack. Klai goes down, "I'm hit! Take them out! I'll get the bombs off!"

[Darth NeoVenom]

Zofire asks Jan, "Can I burrow a ship? I have no ship."

[Katarn07]

"Oh, yeah. Wra'fo gave me his report; he said you lost your ship somehow. Yeah, we have a modified Y-Wing you can take. It's got a slot for R9, so you can take him with no hassle. It's in docking bay 76-A. Do you know where Wra'fo could be? I am afraid he went to a local dive to drink his failure off, but I have no clue where he goes... Look there if you do. Get him back here alive, by any means necessary, Wra'fo can be a mean drunk. Ask Kyle, he can vouch to that."

Topshot holds back the droid assault, when the mysterious person suddenly appears and destroys the last of the 10 super battle droids.

Topshot:"Who the trandoshan heck are you?"

???:"Name's Raven. Raven Kheys. I'm the one that's been
secretly helping you here."

Topshot:"Why???"

Raven:"Those droids were supposed to be sent to attack Yavin
3. They were then called back when 2 intruders were
making their way successfully into the Kass Army base.
They were after you."

Topshot:"So that's why you saved us, huh?"

Raven:"Actually, it gets worse than that. Before Galak Fyarr was
killed aboard the Doomgiver, he sent a new type of
shadowtrooper to attack and destroy Coruscant. They
were programmed to kill those that helped Kyle Katarn
defeat Desann at the ruins of the Jedi Academy temple.
So far, 5 of them were successful in killing as little as a
couple Rebel scouts and fighters. The other 3 escaped
while I destroyed two of their kind, and may well be on
their way to NRI Headquarters to retrieve that drug your
friends are going to analyze."

Topshot:"How do you know all of this?"

Raven:"I heard about all of this over the Holonet....."

Klai rolled his eyes as he took off the last bomb, "You mean you are relying on a message board full of loonies that spend all day wasting their lives away there? The last factual thing I ever got from them is that none of that info is correct. You must have a more solid lead?"

Just as he said that, Topshot's X-Wing arrived. Klai looks to Raven, "Well, we have no choice but to believe you. I was not there, but I do know that Gunny was a mishap in a lab in the early Shadowtrooper projects. I wouldn't be surprised if he were a target. We have to act fast. We can talk about this on the way to Coruscant. Do you have a ship, or do you need a lift?"

"Thank you." Zofire says to Jan. Zofire and R9 arrive at docking bay 76-A and both board the modified Y-Wing and head out to where the traffic on Coruscant. Zofire then thinks on which bars or restaurants she has been too.

"Can he be in there? Maybe he is at that restaurant we first went to...AJ's, if I recall correctly. Let's head there."

Zofire and R9 then head towards AJ's Place. Upon arriving there, Zofire lands the Y-Wing down on the hanger and head towards the restaurant's entrance. From the entrance window, Zofire saw Wra'fo drinking. Zofire enters the bar followed by R9.

Wra'fo is already stumbling on his feet. He pushes the last of his credits foward, "Just one more!"

"No, Wra'fo. You're wasted. Your BAC is probably double over the legal limit of this sector, and that is near fatal levels! Now drink this java juice, or get out of here."

Wra'fo busts the bottle on the counter, "Give me unutha' bottle... I.. need it!"

The bartender holds up his hands and sees Zofire standing in the bar's doorway and he makes eye contact with her for help.
