its a bit corny in some ways. the 3D computer graphics are impressive for 1981 film. it has a lot of action scenes and fights that keep the atmosphere tense. overall the movie is not that bad. thumbs up

I haven't been able to see any one of them but I plan to see them when I get the chance. They look like alright movies.

Any one looking forward to Dark Blue? It is Kurt's new movie that is coming out.

It's a decent movie, my uncle showed it to me once. I don't remember it that well but I think I liked Escape from New York. I can only recall lots of criminals and lots of fighting O_o

SNAKE! I thought you were dead.

1rst movie I ever saw that had a Mac-10. How about that scene where he cuts an escape route thru the wall with it?

Oh and Chef from Southpark is the head badguy.

Yep...I saw it when it was first released, and I enjoyed it. I was sort of a Carpenter fan at one time...Assault on Precinct 13, the remake of The Thing, Halloween I and II...and They Live...

Apart from Kurt Russel EFNY also starred Lee Van Cleef and Ernest Borgnine...and I think Donald Pleasance played the President, didn't he? It's worth viewing if you've never seen it before.

I haven't seen the sequel (Escape from LA), because I was told it was quite poor in comparison.

Yeah, I have seen both of them, NY and LA. I was not a big fan of either though.

Lee Van Cleef is a good actor. He was in For a Few Dollars More and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly (both Eastwoods), and was very good in both :D
