Pure comedy.

Most common thing to get from the French Army during WWII. I mean, they were all taken prisoner right away, so there uniforms and web gear must be hard to come across...

(No offence to any French people, but it is true...)

I showed this to my dad and uncle. My uncle sent this out to millions of people. If you think this is real, you're wrong. I got suspicious when I saw that price. I mean, 20 was nuts, 100 was a stretch, but I knew it was fake at the above price and actually did a little research on it.

Read the guys location, first of all. Location French are Cheese Eating Surrender Monkeys

Then there is the desc of it. It is flaming the French left and right. Truly laugh out loud funny. :D :p :D

And the reason it is so high? Check the bid history. It is the same guys over and over, who I assume must be friends of the seller. Still funny.

May offend any French users, though.

Very funny...I wonder why the auctioner didn't dirty up the flag a little bit; doing that would have made it a little more accurate ;)

That would be logical. But if you read the entire story, it said this flag was made from a bed sheet and was so rare because it was white... instead of yellow.

I see the seller had to switch locatin name and lost that part of the story. It seems it was taken off by eBay.

I thought the laughs were over when the auction was over at 20,000 dollars...

Then my uncle emailed me another is on there!!!!

The laughter continuies... (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2161656951&category=4077)

The description "story" is more see-through than the fake flag it is "describing"
