heres some shot of level 1 of the DF2E TC for jedi knight so what do u guys think some textures and lights are temp only

id suggest making the map brighter. from the shots, you can barely see anything

Does look a little too dark, and lacking some architectural detail in places, but conveys a great sense of atmopshere, looks promising :)

im still working on getting the lighting the way i want it so some lightings just tempory so i can look at it better ingame

Architecturally, though, you've hit the nail right on the head. It's a very faithful representation of the first Dark Forces 2 level.

Even though it does look a little dark, it's more suitable for the "double-cross" atmosphere.

This is mainly shader work and some small changes spent a few hours learing shaders there quite easy once you work it out not as bad as what i thougth but hey hers some updated shots what i took today you can see the differance now i added shaders to the textures

some new shots been feeling lazzy with the lighing but i did get some of the shader problems fixed still got lot to do and yes i know the areas are dark

Bad lighing warning yeap im getting lazzy but hey im bussy as hell with work and other stuff at the moment so im doing a hour or two when i can and i know that lighting is not done

Some of those shaders look really great. Aside from it being too dark (you said you're working on the lighting so np), I think in plces the architecture could do with more detail maybe? All in all it continues to look promising :)

hey thanks man at the moment my plans are to get the new site sorted fix up the lighting i got some new textures on there way soon as i have finished putting my new PC together im gonna work on the shaders for them and get them in the map but i have to say a big thanks to zulijn for letting me use hes Nar Shadda texture set. Here one of the revamed neons Ravensroke made this as a gif so ppl can get the idea of who it looks its gonna be sexy once it has the shaders done

thanks guys i just got the neon texture this morning it looks like the shades gonna be a B**** 10 stage neon with light maps god help me

One question about the DF2 mod. Are you planning on making a new Kyle model along with all these stupendous maps and models (Jerec kicks serious arse), or are you going to go with the same old bantha hearder?

Bantha hearder free zone bloodriot will probley mod the orginal kyle model (like he done with the emperor Kyle for the final cutsceen) and just reskin once Absaths back with us. Well Jerec was Madjai's Last model for Jedi Outcast spoke to him awhile looks like he's not making no more JO models but have to give props to him for all he's help with the TC. But Yun is gonna look sweet once its skinned he's been ready for about 6 weeks or so just waiting on the skin i know 8T88 is on its way and Sariss and the rest of the dark jedi

I am sure the mod is going to be great and your level seems to be giving us nothing less than good ole' JK's feel. Keep it up and good luck to the DF2 team.

Oh and Zuljin should definitely release a texture pack. That would be sw33t. Now just to wait. . . .

wow that looks like the authentic nar shadaa from jk... but wasnt the lighting jes a bit brighter? cuz i dont rememer it bein that dark.....:confused:

yeap the orginal Nar shadda was to light the whole team agreed so im giving it a more seedy look the maps coming on nice but slow at the moment its about 70% done then it goes beta for testing and working out where to add events in the level while i finish off texturing the map and tweaking my lazy lighing bloodriots starting sariss this week and 8T88 soon whats gonna be needed any skinners out there intressted in skinning some models email me here reaper@nwo2k.net or any texture artists out there
