The Sims was fun for like a week. But then it started to get boring REALLY quickly when I realized that they move too slow (by comparison with how quickly the time goes by, it takes them like 5 minutes to cross the living room), and they never get a day off (unless you want to risk getting fired). There's just not enough time to build up the stats to get far in whatever career you've chosen, and it just gets frustrating because it takes them like 3 hours in the morning to get showered, go to the bathroom and eat breakfast! And sometimes you can't even do that - you've got to skip something otherwise they miss the car to work. The Sims is the biggest waste of time EVER.

I loved the Sims for a month or two. The hated it. I hate that stupid game sooooooo much. All time I wasted watching those idiots kill themselves! All sim games are like that, IMO. I get sick of them so fast, so I don't bother buying them.

I found a quick way to get cash for the Sims.

Build a bathroom in the back. This will be your "Room of Death"
Invite a rich couple over and feed the husband a ton of food till he goes to the bathroom. Once he goes in, edit the house and remove the door. He'll eventually pee on the ground if you remove the toilet, heh, and then later die of whatever. Put the urn into another back room (trophy room :) )

Then befriend the wife a ton and eventually ask her to marry you. If you succeed, you inherit a ton of money (and kids if they have any). Let the kid be poor at school until the military comes and picks them up. Invite another couple over, do it again.

Eventually, you have 6 or 7 wives all slapping eachother and starting fights as you sit on your butt watching TV with a $100 bill for your napkin.

I'm glad you told me you had to pay monthly. If I hadn't known, I woulda bought it. This is the reason why I am also not getting Star Wars Galaxies. It's a complete rip-off.

I borrowed the game from a friend a while back and I got bored of it real fast too. I think that games were you have to pay monthly is a rip off. It's just a way to make more money from the game once it's sold. I hope that the Sim's Online and Galaxy's Realize this before they lose money and customers fast.
