lukeskywalker1 and myself are starting a new mod for jk2. It is like a new Zelda game. To see what we have come up with so far go here. (http://lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=94083)

Now, I am mapping and doing weapon models. We need a player modeler, a coder, a modeler in general for map objects and any other editors that would like to help. Please this could be a great mod but we need some help from some of you. You can contact us here, through PM's or through email. To contact me through email send it here (lojik89@hotmail.com) but lets try to keep it on the boards if possible.

We Need a Coder And a Player Modeler!

I'm teaching Brodin to model weapons and he is making the Kokori Sword, So far we have:

3 mappers (Myself, Brodin, lukeskywalker1)
2 weapon modelers (Myself, Brodin)

EDIT: Sorry for the double post, didn't realize

Yeah, we need more people workin on this.

We need a couple people who are good at modelling characters, as well as people for making items.

Mapping help would be very welcome aswell.

did you mention you're not gonna sell it?

03-13-2003, 04:10 PM
Well, I'm horriable at modelling characters but if someone can make some characters, I can weight the vertices to the bones and stuff and get it as a working .GLM model.

03-14-2003, 11:34 AM
Well THATS a shame. Hrmmph. Looks like we can't make a Zelda mod anymore, not legally anyways. ARG! Time to think of a new project, so it seems.

03-14-2003, 04:28 PM
2 emails have been sent now, we got the same exact response (pretty much), except there was a different name at the bottom, and a different number....... and yes the 2nd email said we are only going to put it up on the internet for a free download.......sorry guys :(

03-14-2003, 04:40 PM
Guess that puts an end to our mod.:( I'm still making my model though regardless.

03-14-2003, 04:52 PM
No Zelda mod. :cry7:

03-14-2003, 09:49 PM
Hmmm, very disappointing, this is........

All I can say is this..........

..........Try making a story/mod similar to Zelda, but with a different story and characters of your own creation, however still keeping the same exciting action of the original Zelda. See what I'm saying?

03-14-2003, 10:06 PM
yeah, thats what people said at the swamp.....

03-14-2003, 10:08 PM
Well call it Zingda, and make link blueish gray instead of green. MUAHAHAHAHHAH

and the Loser Sword instead of Master Sword! HAHAAHHA

how about there were screenshots of the link model, click on matt-liells sig, also the project started but it never really got moving..... because (i dont know if you have read the whole thread) but nintendo wont grant us permission to make that mod.

Thankyou wise and powerful lukeskywalker1. I looked at the link model. So I'm confused . . . you guys don't read the forums then? If you did you would know that people run into this thing all the time. What you do is change the color and the name like that one guy said. Check out bid for power for Quake III. Same thing happened.

03-15-2003, 12:30 PM
Yeah, those guys planned to make a Dragon Ball Z mod for Quake III until Funimation e-mailed them saying they would sue if they did. So that's when that mod team decided to make a similar story with different characters and different attacks.

03-15-2003, 04:43 PM
There are similar stories and things that you could make up / write. It wouldn't be all that bad.

03-15-2003, 09:50 PM
My points exactly.........

03-15-2003, 11:11 PM
Hey! For once someone is listening to me! Kick @$$. But seriously, you don't even have to change the story or attacks. Just modify the characters a little. Hell you can even model them exactly the same just skin them a little different and then give them different names.

Ganondorf = Frodnonag
Link = Knil
Zelda = Adlez
Saria = Airas

Wow . . .I was gonna type that as a joke . . . but they actually work. Well maybe a few changes

Ganondorf = Frodonag (Frod-On-Ag)
Link = Knil (Nill)
Zelda =Aldez (All-Dez)
Saria = Airas (Air-Us)

Just a simple solution to a difficult problem.
