i just finished my first model and now im trying to get it into jk2 but when i try to assimilate i get this error: "XSI import failed, file contains cubic scale keys" WHY!? - if anyone knows how to make it work plz tell me

Because you most likely dont live in the U.S...

Change your windows regional settings and keyboard to U.S., if you dont change you will never be able to compile with carcass.

i have done everything it says but it still dosent work. can it have anything to do with my windows version? - the pics in the tutorial looks like win 98/me but i use windows xp pro

I use windows 2000 (NT), make sure you reboot and set your keyboard to english US.

My default language for keyboard is English US when i boot, so that way i know it is properly set.

IT WORKS!!!
i exported my model form max AFTER i changed my keyboard settings and now it works

I see you have used meshsmooth...i would advise against that but eh...it gets the job done.
