Ok first of does anyone no what section the lava shader is. I no theirs one inn the imp_mine folder but its not a shader.
PS-im using GTK radiant if it makes any diff

2nd- In a map that im making I have an evelvator using func_plat. Ive set up a trigger at the top of the shaft so that the elevator will come up but it wont go back down if your standing on it. can anyone help???

Exactly. It's only a texture, not a shader.

well then how do you make it seem like water, I tried ptting on water but it just messes up and if it looks black and even the ytou cant get it to light right so can you explain plz

Turn it into a water shader.

In Artus, the lava was solid.

I only have edited one shader and that was with shader ed. Open the texture with shader ed(comes with JK2 editing tools) and check the water flag. Then save it under shaders (I don't know where this is). This may work, but I've never made a shader.

If you don't have shader ed, you'll have to ask someone else.
