View Full Version : Indy Jones & Emperor's Tomb PC - editable?

Indy jones & the Emperor's Tomb came out in New Zealand yesterday for PC. Suprising seeing we normally lag by several weeks after the US release date before it hits shelves here.
I won't be buying it until next month, but I'm wondering if someone who does have it can read the End User Licence Agreement & let me know, if like Infernal Machine, editing is forbidden.

Also, post a review of it, and if you must use spoilers, use the spoiler tags... ;)
*** I never read that, or else I can't play. I do nothing but play it, so I must agree with what it says I can and cannot do.

Well, I got it. And well, I saw some files here and there.. TGX or whatever they are... There are some un-known filenames. But I am sure you can find it.

Oh, any game can in theory be modded.
What I'm asking is whether the agreement (you probably clicked "yes" as you installed the game after skipping reading it) says you are allowed to make modifications. It may be repeated in the back of the manual too.
The Dark Forces series all allowed it, but Indy Jones & The Infernal Machine did not.
Just wondering if you can skim the licence agreement & see what is said regarding modding the game, and post the jist of the paragraph(s) here. :)

the thing is, its darn near impossible to hold someone to a contract that you agree to after you buy, open, and begin installation of a product.

That's right acdcfanbill, still up in the air as to how much legal clout a EULA has. In normal circumstances it has no clout what so ever, even if you do expect it to be there..
Indy, hmmm, from what I saw in an Extended Play preview it looks rather nice........
