Ok I woukld like to know how to make my own custom textures, I have an idea of how to do them is it: create a folder in the /base directory called 'textures' then repaint some of the textures from another one like 'bespin' and save them as 'floor1' or something like that and save and they should be there in JK2Radiant? Is that right? If not please tell me.

That's the gist of things. After you create the folder and put in your .tga or .jpg textures (making sure their dimensions are in the power of two) you will find them under the textures dropdown menu in radiant. :-)

You can make your own from scratch too. You can find Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro tutorials on the internet and learn how to make layers and alpha channels for shaders and all kinds of stuff.

Ok I made new pictures from scratch made them the way i wanted them and then changed the image size to 512x512 pixels. And then I save them as name.jpg under my folder in the textures folder and then I go into jk2radiant and the folder of mine shows up! Then I texture it the way i want and I compile it and go and check it out it the game and it shows up as just Grey and white lines! How come it did this?

In the console type in "sv_pure 0" before starting your map. Or, if you don't change your textures too often, pack them up into a pk3.
