Darth_Rommel
07-30-2001, 07:07 PM
But 'buff' is the polite term

Wedge
07-30-2001, 07:24 PM
The Polite Term is Completely Obsessed Maniac

Darth_Rommel

Darth_Rommel

FlyBOy
07-31-2001, 04:48 PM

Darth_Rommel
07-31-2001, 04:51 PM

Tie Guy
07-31-2001, 11:24 PM

Boba Rhett

Swimming is one of the few things I enjoy more than playing Jedi Knight. In other words, I love it.

Tie Guy
08-01-2001, 11:32 PM
I have a pool in my backyard, but i never swim in it. I don't really know why, but i just don't enjoy swimming that much.

BTW, i wish gaming was a sport, that would be great for the olympics. *And Tie Guy takes the gold in the RA2 event.* :D

Paragon_Leon
08-02-2001, 06:16 AM
LOL !
"And in other news, the cheating-scandal in this week's Gaming Olympics led to such-and-such team being expelled."

Tie Guy
08-02-2001, 09:48 PM
"It appeats as thought they were using a hack known as RA2Edit. And now for the world news with Lisa Hallensworth, Lisa........

Master Yoda

We play soccer here pratically as a national sport...
I used to do a bit of judo on the side, but that's waaaaay back. Wouldn't remember any moves.

As far as brain-sports went, i was quite a chess-player and once won a tournament of the southern part of Holland (about the size of New York)

Darth_Rommel
08-03-2001, 03:07 PM
I do a lot of running during the hockey season, to keep me endurance up (goalies have gotta have it) ;)

Don't you call it Football though?
Chess is cool, I just don't like all the stupid moves you can do. Like if the king os over here and another piece is over there you can switch them!

You have a pool!?! Man you are lucky! :D

Paragon_Leon
08-03-2001, 03:15 PM
Ah... culture differences...

yeah, we call soccer 'voetbal', which would translate literally into 'football'.
The chess-move you refer to is called a 'rochade' I believe.
It wasn't a really stupid move either, because you couldn't do it if you had moved either of those pieces before it.

Tie Guy
08-03-2001, 04:03 PM
I like chess...but i hardly ever play it anymore.

BTW Rommel, i don't see myself as being lucky coz i've got a pool. Rmember, i told you i never swam in it.

rommel, hockey rocks! i've never played it, but my favorite team is the san jose sharks (go figure, i live in san francisco). who's your team????

Paragon_Leon

hi Jay,

quick question in between; why did your Starcraft-like Avatar look so grainy when you reposted it ?
I liked it much better before..

and why don't you keep those a-wings !! just to stay off-topic of course... :D

Lord JayVizIon

leon,
i embossed the image to add a grotesque look to it. i messed around with adobe photoshop to see what it'll look like. i'm seeing all sorts of animated images but for some reason they're not uploading onto this site. plus, people want to see the awing so.......

Tie Guy

I'd have to say Toronto. My favourite player is Felix Potvin, who's yours?

Tie Guy

I like the Blue's. And my local Checkers :D

Paragon_Leon

I support our national soccer-champions, PSV Eindhoven, since 1988. But don't visit matches that often, simply because they have Sunday-matches..

Tie Guy

Have you seen the dutch national team play? I always root for them in the world cup.

Lord JayVizIon
08-05-2001, 12:02 AM
does patrick kluivert play for the dutch national team???

from rommel:
I'd have to say Toronto. My favourite player is Felix Potvin, who's yours?

rommel, i don't know if you know who brad stuart is, he's the young defenseman for the sharks (only 21). he may be the next rob blake......another person is owen nolan, i think he rocks.......

Darth_Rommel
08-05-2001, 12:05 AM
Brad Stuart, I know him! He is pretty good, but 'next Rob Blake', do ya think he live up to it JayVizIon?

Lord JayVizIon
08-05-2001, 12:07 AM
well rommel, it's too early to tell. i watch every sharks game and if you see him play, he has great skating skills, can pass pretty good for a dman, and has a shot clocked over 92mph. he's also very strong, and with the right coaching and players around him, i think he can come close if not the equivalent of blake. the sharks are one of the best young teams in the league, and he's the cornerstone.......

Darth_Rommel
08-05-2001, 12:13 AM
Well, the Sharks core is young, so they will be at least a 90 point team for the next couple years ;)

Lord JayVizIon
08-05-2001, 12:16 AM
well, the sharks were at 95 pts last year, and they got adam graves via trade and selannes for the whole year, so i hope they could pass 100. did sundin resign with toronto?

Darth_Rommel
08-05-2001, 12:21 AM
Yeah, but he is overpaid. 9 million for 75 points? I hate to say it put Graves has had a great career, but he sucks now. He won't really help the Sharks offensivly, I predict 20 points. Selanne? I can't argue with you there he will definatly help the Sharks out, but there is a downside they traded Friesen to get him, and in time Friesen will be the better player :(

I have To say it... FOOTBALL SEASON IS COMING!!!!!!
there I feel better now...
