What are the best books in the EU, i have only recently begun to take an interest in the EU and i was wondering which are the best books to read? Any suggestions

But if you don't want to read all 70 or so books, the Thrawn Trilogy is good., the Hand of Thrawn is excellent, the NJO kicks ass. There are a lot of books I didn't mention because I'm not sure if you wanted to read it all, or just read a few.

i think reading them all will be a bit too much, but then again if you want to get the whole story i might have to do that, i have heard good good things about the Timothy Zahn novels. Whuch novels have Katarn in them and lots of Jedi action as i think i would like to read those sorts first.

well it depends what you like.. i like fighting ith the empire..

so all books BEFORE NJO are good for me..
but the x-wing books go very HIGH on my recomandation (sp?)

I just finished the Bounty Hunter Wars. It's pretty cool. had hard Merchandise, but I forgot to get the 1st 2. So I got them last week and read them.

I like the NJO books. Don't really like those prequel books although I do have Shadow Hunter.

the general consensus among readers izzat the njo and x-wing series are good, but that the thrawn trilogy is the best of them all. check out the hand of thrawn duology, too.

STARFIGHTERS OF ADUMAR= best book in the entire sw universe.

The Hand of Thrawn Duology is my second favorite series. The NJO is 1st.

and Traitor = best SW book... so far, there's still the rest of Force Heretics, and the Unifying Force
