PLEASE: I need to know which Program. I need your help!

Ok, I've been downloading America's Army, and my RAM usage is high for some reason, aroun 95%. Well, I've been downloading for an hour and a half and have 70% done. Well, I want this program to download even if the computer restarts cuz of ram usage. please help me! :( I need yo know the programs to use!

all require u to start the download WITH the program running

i dont think u can get away with it im afraid mate

If your RAM usage is high, quit some programs. And it's too late now for other programs.

Yea, I downloaded it. I'm just mad that my ram usage gets so high....My all time high today was 99% o_0......I wonder what would happen if it got to 100+%

Yea, I have cable. It rocks sooooooo much! :D So download accelerator will speed it up and save it unless the connection is lost somehow?

If you have something like XP, you can easily kill those apps that you don't really need running in the background, that ran when you started the PC.....

The less you use it, the more likely it will start defrag, or other programs like that, or move it's swap file around while you appear to do nothing...

whatever you do don't download Gozilla, cause it has some spywares in it, i had it before and i had som much ads afterwards.

My favourite is Flashget.

No spyware and the program has some very nifty features :)

I use Leechget (Hm... I guess people who write download mangers can't think of anything besdies "get"). It pretty good, and no spyware. Plus it also works as a FTP thing, which I use a lot.

if it gets to 100%, your OS would use teh swap file on teh HDD lol. dont worry, it already uses it for memory for applications taht arnt as important and dont require fast memory access..
