One thing I think really helps my RP Series stand out is the setting. What I try to do is make undeniably Star Wars, but different from any real era in Star Wars canon. Part of this is that while it takes place well after everything published, except for the Legacy comics, it's actually meant to be an alternate timeline, deviating from established canon at the start of the Legacy Era. Having recently written The Dantooine Mission, which features an appearance by two Death Guards, which is something I had previously referenced in Part III of the RP series without much elaboration, I decided to go into more detail, and possibly have them appear in Part V.

It seems that in each RP, a character gets introduced well into the story, doesn't really appear prominent, and then they become a major character in the next one. For Parts IV and V, that character was Andorra Evenstar. In a lot of ways, she was an experimental character for me.
