Two issues - video dysfunction, and alignment glitch.

Luckily, I ran out of most problems. But these two have persisted throughout my time with the game.

1) When I use codes (as I remember, it was the same without them too) to add light or dark side points, whether I use a number or add the maximum amount of alignment points possible, Atton Rand automatically gets the same amount of points in the OPPOSITE alignment from me. I entered 'addlightside', and he became totally evil (full corruption and dark side points). I entered 'adddarkside', and he became completely good (full light side mastery). How do I alter this issue to be able to use the same 'addlight/darkside' code for him separately, because it doesn't work, but mainly the problem is that his alignment goes in the opposite direction from mine. What is wrong here?

2) I can't watch any movie apart from the 'Republic fleet arrives at Telos' one' in the game. Even the 'Kreia's fall' video in the game, which occurs when you ask her about her Sith/Jedi past, doesn't work. A black screen appears, flickers, and I see a cursor, and it's back to the game or menu. Little movies, like the shuttle beind shot down over Telos' surface work, but I don't understand why the others won't. What's the issue? How do I solve it?

X-Wing: Edit And Cheat

Hello,

I'm new here.

I am playing X-Wing CD and it is the hardest videogame I ever played or nearly. I am even having difficulty in the early Historical Combat missions where everything move so fast and it takes a long time to reach from one point to another.

I had similar difficulty attempting to play Wing Commander. Somehow I was able to manage through Wing Commander II.

At this point I would still like to complete X-Wing but it is unlikely unless I
seriously cheat.

I am playing with a mouse, this might be part of the problem, and have attempted to use PPJoy with the mouse what gave very erratic results (the spaceship tilts when I shoot). At the moment I would still prefer to just cheat and later maybe retry when I buy a proper joystick.

So, my question is: are there any X-Wing Editor out there that can change the time limits in Historical Combat? Because for the moment, this is my principle problem. Time Limits is always off when I still have many things to do. I would like to just kill that time limit and try that way.

Next step, if this won't work, would be to categorically play as unvulnerable (with an editor), the point really being that I just want to go through the settings of this videogame, even if I don't have the skills to play it (which is obvious to me now, I really really suck at it).

This is something I didn't think I'd ever say but I'm now looking forward to an MMO. Namely this, a game that is all kinds of crazyly awesomme, from its graphics (no it's not concept art) to its gameplay (think if every player had access to the editor at the same time) to the fact that it's made by one person (team Gizka, take note). The alpha build is allready out so for those not believing me just check it out.

[WIP] Kotor Gameplay Improvement Mod

yes, i did post this before, but i made many errors, and since i changed the name, i think it would be necessary for a new topic.

What i am going to do: Right now, i am working on getting some party members their personal items, or improve what they already have. Some may say it is too high, like missions stuff, but this would also be helpful in the future of the game. I am also adding Revan's items to the game. Currently, they are placed in the tomb of Naga Sadow on Korriban. These characters will have either new personal items, improved items, or both

Party Item Improvement:
Bastila
Carth
Mission
Jolee
Canderous

And I am going to change the AI a bit, make bosses more harder. Heres another thing. I think that the creators of Kotor made NPCs too weak, like sith soldiers or republic soldiers. For all sith or republic soldiers, except the Endar Spire, their levels will be changed from 1 to 3, and heavy troopers to 5, to make them less of pushovers. As you dont encounter Sith from the Spire until you reach the Sith Base. I also will modify the officers and Dark Jedi, who will have a higher lvl, improved feats, etc. These bosses will be modified:
Darth Malak
Darth Bandon
Darth Bastila
Saul Karath

And this is not all, I am going to voice act Revan for this. At first these two will be seperated, but after i finish the items, i will start Voice acting Revan. For those who want one or both, that is why i am releasing them both together and seperate. However, i will only be able to voice act a male PC
Here is an Example conversation between Revan and a PC

Carth: Yes, what's on your mind?
PC clicks on (Do you know anything about this world?)

When the PC is choosing an option, he/she has what a pc' normal conversation animation would be, then when he/she chooses, the camera stays focused on the pc, while he/she talks. The PC will have then the conversation animation that everybody else has, whether male or female.

PC w/ voice: Do you know anything about this world?
Camera turns to Carth
Carth: I don't know much about this place, sorry.
PC chooses again. Same setup, options, and rules as explained above
PC: Never mind
Carth: You got it.

Sometimes the PC has statements/sentences that are said commonly, like what the pc said about. Things like: Never mind, ill be going now, or both together, or Do you know anything about this world will have the same voice clip. Or like when the PC asks Bastila to show him/her a vision.

There is a problem. I dont have the items or tools required to Voice act the PC yet, but i will get them as soon as i can. However, I am getting close to finishing the Party Member Item Pack, so if i get the AI finished as well, i can release part of the mod, and release the rest as a pack once i finish Voice Acting.

As read in this article about a company creating a Klingon dictionary for their translation programs:

A man spoke only Klingon to his son for the first 3 years of his life to discover if his son would learn it. Apparently his son started to pick it up.

However, "As for Speers, who still gets nostalgic when he recalls singing the Klingon lullaby �May the Empire Endure� with his son at bedtime, the experiment was a dud. His son is now in high school and doesn�t speak a word of Klingon."

Dad says he's not a big Star Trek fan. Right.

This is how my Computer is in a Cupboard, this is how i Work and Play my Games from within the Cupboard.

What is the Danger of a PC burn out, since i blame the Games for having Blue Screen Errors and Crashes so many times.

I also bought a 260 Graphics Card witch seems to help and Stable my Games even better and i also have a Cooling System aswell.

There is no hole at the back of the Cupboard for the Air to go out, so the hot air is just swirling around.

My PC runs fine when im browsing the Internet or do other Normal things, its the Games does the Hard Work.

About Us

Conclave was started in October 2009 in the anticipated runup to Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO. It was started by a band of friends who had spent years playing MMOs together. The guild is built upon the tenets of humour, fun and skilled gameplay.

We are players that have been able, in the past, to spend hours upon hours day after day at the keyboard. We reached the stage that we wanted to play an MMO with other skilled people, but understood that skill does not mean having to play for hardcore amounts of time. Essentially - you don't have to be on every day, but when you are on you are skilled and focussed on supporting your guildmates.

The guild hierarchy is admittedly not totally democratic - ultimately decisions have to be made and experience has taught us that for this to happen there needs to be distinct leadership. However, the guild is run on the principle that opinions are heard and considered. Any major decision is decided by the Guild Council, which comprises 4 general members and 4 class representatives.

Our "Theme"

Our motto is "The End Justifies the Means". Whatever faction we end up choosing, we are not necessarily good or evil - we make choices and decisions to benefit ourselves and how we feel the galaxy should develop.

Because of this we welcome all types of players - we are not focussed on any particular element - the Conclave comes first and we will support you and your endeavours.

Current Status

Currently, Conclave has not decided what faction it will become a part of - this will come later when all classes have been revealed. We are an EU guild, and will be playing in that timezone.

We are currently recruiting, and look forward to seeing applications.
