extractings sounds directly from a game (like Grim Fandango)
So does anybody know (and would you please tell me) exactly how you extract sounds directly from a game like Grim Fandango? Thanks.

You need to use a device called ScummREV - the site's down now, though, so just go google hunting.

That site better get back up soon. Grrr. I lost my copy of ScummRev when we had the hard drive wiped and now I can't get it back. Grr.

I have the the most current versions sitting right here in my backups folder (one handles sound, the other pictures) and I'll send 'em to ye for the low low price of an email address! What a deal!

Thanks, re:extracting sounds
ScummRev2 works like a champ. Once imuse.mixnmojo.com came back up, I was able to peruse all the other good stuff about ripping the sounds from the other games too. I love GF.
