Ded. server problems ...
 

Hi !!

I have some severe problems getting the damn ded. server to work.
It does install without a problem but after i did the settings and hit the start-button the small loading window appears and nearly directly after it closes again the server seems to go down. I can press the start-button again and the same **** happens again - loading window then back to start ....

Anyone here who has some ideas on this topic ??

Btw. it´s a Win XP Pro server on a 100mbit con, with the latest DX installed

I already tried to shut down the firewall but it didn´t help.

Other games like Mechwarrior Merc or Söldner Secret Wars run without any problems.

Yep already checked all possible FAQs and comments...

Nothing did help ...

Same problem for me, the server crash when push start and a windows error appears. I have direct X 9.c installed. Anybody can help?.
