Can i ask everyone who has downloaded my map to tell me if the 2 Fambaa Shields(purple domes) are in the map? cos on SWBFFiles the screenshots (that Andrew has put up)dont show them.

I can assure you i put the Shields in . Maybe theres a problem with SWBFFiles's or something.

Hm ...
I've downloaded the "sexy map" last week to test the lambda shuttle, and that map got everything of every map, also the Faamba's, also without shield :s, but that was SP, i'll check this.

Yeha, the shields work, I wanna test this in MP, to see if this works online. Can you choose the way the AI bots walk?

Played it in Instant Action and yes the shield domes are there working just as they're supposed to. On occasion if the computer is having trouble though they dissapear. (But still can't be shot through) They usually don't on mine but once or twice they did.

Heres my list of good things, bad things, things that need to be removed and things that need to be put in.

good parts:
The map layout itself is great.
The gungan weapon styles are awsome
big great battle going on with 100 units in the map at one time, lagy but still great.


Bad parts:

the er (cant think of the name, CIA transport troop carrier thingys) need to be a bit farther away from the gungan shileds.
the butter flys look like fish until you get closer to them(might be my comp)
alot of lag if over looking the shileds when CIS(again, prob my comp).



Things that need to be put in:
More kaadus for the gungans
More CIS tanks for the CIS
alittle water around the gungan sacred swamp
another CIS tranport(in the movie there was 4, not 3)




things that need to be removed:
less CIS scout vehicle thingys ( cant think of the name either :( )


over all I rate this map 9.6:jawa, Its a map you can play over and over and not get tierd of(like imperial ground;) )

Thanks for the suggestions but i find that the amount of AAT's (cis tanks) is fine . They seem to spawn 3 to 4 times ( making 6 to 8 AAt's throught the map). There is a need for balancing or the gungans would get wiped out as they dont have any duper powered tanks .

I may make the distance between the MTT's and the Shields a bit bigger :)

I think the butterflys are birds ;)

I do want the Kaadu's to spawn but it seems like an enigma in the mod world at this point ....no-one seems able to spawn them . I just put them in untill i learn how to spwan them.


Here is a list of what I will be adding ,testing out etc.

ADDING- Kaadu Spawns.
Water from Sacred Place to CIS landing zone .
Proper Mini Map Radar.
Naming the Gungan grenades 'Booma's '
Maybe another MTT and a Fambaa Generator ( slowly heals the fambaa shields).
Proper Flythro Video for mission select screen - instead of photos.


TAKING AWAY - The vehicle repair droids next to the fambaas.
the recon droid for CIS (maybe)
Making distance between shields and MTTS a bit bigger .


+ General tweaking to AI , Objects etc etc.

Thats off the top off my head anyway.

OH!!!!!!!!!!!! the most important thing .....making the MTT's not drivable .


PS . did you mean you got bored of IMP Ground assault or am i mistaken?

It would be cool if the AI bots drive the MTTs to the top of the hill and then stop.


If you are able to choose the way the AI bots go, then you should make them go in rows, that would be cool. Because now they run like morons to the field and start shooting :)

Yeah this is the coolest custom map ;)
But if it would be possible to add a special gungan class: The gungan Shield Man. lol

The shield can be like the droidekas shield.

But can't you add a gungan pilot class and sniper class ?

Well there kind of are snipers in there, the soldier has a sniper rifle. And since they didnt have any ships in orbit or anything it wouldn't make sense to give them the recon droid. And they have grenades. Your right that there are no pilot like class though.

the pilot class is kinda mixed into 2 classes . 1 having the mortor gun and the other having the health and ammo . i might tweak this a bit and give the gungans class names .

im gonna take the recon droid off the cis (which was always my intention )

also most probably i will be making a MultiPlayer version of this map . This is because balancing the map for bots is ok but balancing the map for real people is another matter entirely ! so there will be 2 versions of this map (1 SP and 1 MP )

I was merely refering to balancing issues (like taking the recon droid off the CIS)
