Er..

 Ray Jones 03-11-2005 08:21 AM

End? Was the .. pound?

 NiKo 03-11-2005 08:45 AM

you're suposed to find the errors, dumbpoops!

 Thrik 03-11-2005 08:56 AM

Oh. Well that's easy enough I guess.

Their are three erorrs in this sentence
There are three errors in this sentence.

 Ray Jones 03-11-2005 09:16 AM

What's up with this paradoxum thing?

 DrMcCoy 03-11-2005 09:21 AM

...I guess it's that the third error is that there are only two error, but when you count that as an error, there are really three error, so that can't be an error, so there are only two errors, making the "three errors" bit an error, but then there are 3 errors *head explodes*

 Ray Jones 03-11-2005 09:25 AM

The third error was the little dot thingy.

 DrMcCoy 03-11-2005 09:40 AM

... ...Oh... ...

:o

. . .

...That was mean, I'm far smarter than some strange korn fans...

 Sivy 03-11-2005 11:35 AM

shouldn't it be 'Their are three erorrs with this sentence'?
because the fact that there are only two errors means the third error isn't in the sentence, but rather with the sentence.

anyway, enough of this thinking nonsense!
lets talk about cheese... i like cheese

 Thrik 03-11-2005 12:14 PM

But you missed the period, which is required in any sentence, as well as the two other spelling mistakes.

Oops.

 DrMcCoy 03-11-2005 12:51 PM

Nobody needs a period

 Fealiks 03-11-2005 01:49 PM

yeah, but if women didnt theyd be a mess.. :X

did i miss something while i was away?:atat:

then why does it say it has 3 errors?
wouldnt that make 'three' a 3rd mistake?

dont you roll your eyes at me!

 Fealiks 03-12-2005 07:24 AM

:D wow thats clever.

*looks down* my sigs pretty big.

 Guybrush122 03-12-2005 09:38 AM

Technically, since you didn't punctuate (lack of period at the end of the sentence) the "three" no longer becomes an error, still leaving us with three errors, just that "three" isn't one of that.

 Fealiks 03-12-2005 09:44 AM

yeah but he explianed to mangaas, that is a paradox if there are only 2 errors, making three an error, but as you explained, the lack of of punctuation made three not an error, leaving us back at the start where a loop begins, i.e., a paradox.

thats the cleverist thing i ever said, yet still it doesnt really make sense.

 Guybrush122 03-12-2005 10:10 AM

Not so. It is no paradox for us that "three errors" was accurate, and not one of the errors itself. It is, however, a paradox for NiKo. And an unintentional one.

I wonder if anyone's head has exploded yet?

Mine is sort of rumbling.

 Fealiks 03-12-2005 10:32 AM

its not unintentional because of his title.

However,

you are infact incorrect as thge stimulation of a paradox is upward-thrusting hence the part "three"

NOW, if the scentence is a paradox it would bring verbal count waves thus extending the length of your post.

now THAT, ladies and gentlemen was a loser trying to sound clever.

 Gabez 03-12-2005 10:39 AM

"Don't believe a word I say". It's funny, because people actually say that sometimes.

 Fealiks 03-12-2005 10:52 AM

i know lol

btw dont beleive a word i say

That's deep, man...

...real deep.

And is it just me, or has there been nothing to talk about lately...I've been checking here like every day and never have anything to say...*shrug*

 Fealiks 03-12-2005 04:19 PM

lol

 PoM 03-12-2005 05:40 PM

Meh..
I always lie.

 Fealiks 03-12-2005 06:02 PM

that was irrelevently stupid.

look: O!! its a O!a O is a paradox!!!

 Kjølen 03-12-2005 09:38 PM

Well, to get even MORE technical, there are only two errors. And JUST two. THe misspellings where the two, but there was no third. Besides the period thing. If I said "The sky is pinkish-orange." it wouldnt be a mistake, just a lie. "Elephants eat humans and drink tea." Nothing wrong with the sentence, it just isn't true. "Their are three erorrs in this sentence". Once again, besides the two errors (and the period), it's just a sentence that tells lies.

Basically, Niko lied. :p

The sentence's context doesn't necesarily relate to the sentence itself.

That sentence could have been taken out of a book that was describing a mathmatical problem, that had 3 errors.

It's not a paradox, it's just a silly trick question.

Which didn't trick me.

So I'll continue my eye rolling:

I was just careless and forgot the period

Yes, I am well aware of my luscious woman-lips. :D And no, I don't go that way.

And Niko, your sentence was telling an untruth. :p

 Guybrush122 03-14-2005 01:12 AM

Speaking of paradox, someone take this rope. Oh, and this gun. And hey, this rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle.
