PS2 vs. XBOX

One day I was reading the thread 'Xbox or PC?' when i suddenly thought about what console is better: PS2 or XBOX. Because everyone wants to know which can stand up against the PC. But wat about two consoles? That's the reason of this poll + thread.
I think that the PS2 is better. Because it has better graphics.
But what about you?:)

ET Warrior 04-20-2005 11:49 AM

....The PS2 doesn't have better graphics...the Xbox came out AFTER the PS2 and was built with more powerful hardware.

But that is neither here nor there, these kinds of debates typically end up ugly with fanboys yelling about their console of choice.....

however I have played all three systems, and I keep my Xbox because it has alot of the games I want to play on it.

however, I'd LIKE a gamecube, there are some games on that I'd really like, but I'd also like a PS2 for the RPG's....

I edited to poll to include gamecube and an option if you think they're all equal.

i have xbox and PS2 i prefer Xbox for games but dvd's for ps2 since you need a remote for xbox

Since I am fortunate to own all three, I get to say they are all awesome.

Jade Empire, KOTORs, Halos, ect are awesome.

.hack, God of War, Ace Combats, ect are awesome.

Rogue Squadron, Smash Bros, ect are awesome.

Ya gotta love them all, I've heard great things about all of them, and played most of them. I voted Game Cube, but when it comes to online play X-box.

scout_zero 04-21-2005 12:24 AM

XBox, because it has better graphics and it has a signature game, Halo.:D

Lynk Former 04-21-2005 03:50 AM

GameCube, cause I don't get bored with Nintendo games as much as I do with the other consoles.

sargent_johnson 04-22-2005 11:31 PM

i think both are great.......well......i think both are great but pc is greater.

Same here!

And also because my brother has the PS2 in his room while I have the Xbox and Gamecube in mine. But I still prefer Xbox overall. ;)

The Xbox and PS2 are preaty great, I cant say the same for my gamecube though. I dont know why I dont like it, but anyways I choose the Xbox and PS2. If there was a PC option I'd put that. :D

Evil Dark Jedi 05-01-2005 08:11 AM

Voted Gamecube cause it has awesome games like Rouge Squardron.

But I like Xbox to cause of Fable(The god of RPG's) and Halo/Halo2.

Dont like PS2 that much.

Ranre 05-02-2005 09:41 PM

Ohhhh forgot Rogue Squardran. But I still choose Xbox and the PS2 because of Halo 2, and Mercenaries.

ScoutTrooper95 05-10-2005 10:59 PM

PS@. I just dislike XBOX overall.

Any particular reason? Or just your average fanboy hate?

Ranre 05-11-2005 09:27 PM

You must be the first person to hate an Xbox I know. I dont see any reason in hating it.
