On what system are you geting BattleFront 2 for? (POLL VERSION)

and im geting it for PC btw

TK-8252 07-28-2005 10:10 PM

Where's PSP?

BeBop 07-28-2005 10:14 PM

Yeah where is PSP. And the other topic you dredged up is ancient.... I mean... it was asking what system you are getting Battlefront 1 for. It was made long before BF1's release date.

Anyway, definately PC. In the event that the Vanilla version of the game is no where near satisfying in my eyes, then Mods and new maps can always save the day. Plus 64 player multiplayer is always fun... (usually)

Igor_Cavkov 07-28-2005 10:14 PM

well its not the same game on PSP as on the other systems.. and who cares about the PSP??

TK-8252 07-28-2005 10:15 PM

Uh, it's the same game...

And if I got SWBF2 then it would be for PSP.

Igor_Cavkov 07-28-2005 10:19 PM

well PSP version cant handle the same graphics and the content as on the game for the other systems.. its going to be like doom3 was on pc in the year 1995 lol

BeBop 07-28-2005 10:21 PM

Have you ever held a PSP and played it? If you just watch videos grabbed from it online they hardly do it justice. I don't own a PSP myself but I have used one. Consider Resolution and I really doubt that the graphics will be any worse than the first battlefront.

Igor_Cavkov 07-28-2005 10:26 PM

MY BAD!! i apologise (sp?) i thought it was as power full as GBA or something lol... but anyways this is my topic and i dont care about the PSP ok? :D

Then your poll is unbalanced and therefore flawed.

quixter 08-01-2005 08:42 PM

What will u be buying SWBF2 on?

I know this was already a topic but he never did a poll. (or at least not that I know of )

Sry forgot PSP I don't see anyway I can edit the poll?

Oh yeah... didn't notice that. I must admit this new expansion is confusing.

quixter 08-01-2005 11:21 PM

Lol  PSP is by far the best handheld gaming system out, and will be for a while.

Pho3nix 08-02-2005 05:50 AM

PC
IF I buy the game.

I doubt it will do that. :)

McCusto 08-07-2005 12:16 PM

PC and X-Box

Leviathan 08-07-2005 01:54 PM

PC... Even if there won't be any modding tool, you can try to hex-edit SWBF II... So I consider this game can be modded, especially on PC.

Oh, don't worry, the only reason I'd get it for PSP is because there's no other Star Wars games for it, and there's way better games to get for PC.

Pho3nix 08-07-2005 06:36 PM

For PC ofc...

Micahc 08-07-2005 10:25 PM

X-box, because I'll bet theres calculator more powerful then my PC

Leviathan 08-08-2005 11:08 AM

Depends of your PC's specifications... (RAM, Processor, Video Card, etc...)
Don't tell me it is a Commodore C-64... :p

quixter 08-08-2005 01:27 PM

Do you have any other gaming systems Leviathan?

zerted 08-08-2005 08:55 PM

Amiga

I want the Amiga version.

quixter 08-08-2005 09:01 PM

The what?

Leviathan 08-09-2005 01:38 PM

It was a joke, I guess...

Leviathan 08-09-2005 01:40 PM

No, only those dear PCs... :p

zerted 08-09-2005 02:57 PM

Never heard of an Amiga?

An Amiga is an old computer that was around ten years ahead of its time when it was being sold. Sadly it had no protection from memory leaks and a single baddly codded program could completely crash the computer and wipe out the harddrive. More info at: http://hardware.slashdot.org/article...id=138&tid=137

It had the most advanced graphics and operating system features (except memory protection) when it came out. There are even two new Oses being developed for it at this time. But it was sort of a joke.

Leviathan 08-10-2005 01:42 PM

Now that you finished your explanations about AMIGA "computers", the discussion can continue... ;)

quixter 08-10-2005 05:10 PM

Those AMIGA things are super old!!!

Leviathan 08-11-2005 05:57 AM

As for the famous Commodore and Apple II computers...

I will be getting BattleFront 2 for one of my PC systems. It happens to have a Eyetop Centra for a screen.

Leviathan 08-11-2005 01:27 PM

Eyetop Centra ? I didn't know this display systems' mark, before...

PS : Have you noticed that this manufacturer's web-site has not a domain name finishing by ".com", even though this society sells products ?

zerted 08-11-2005 02:22 PM

I'm not sure what you mean by "I didn't know this display systems' mark, before..." but the website www.eyetop.com is already owned by another company. Website endings .com, .net, .gov, .tel, etc... are meaning less and less nowadays.

If you had to chose between "http://www.mywebsite.cz" and "http://www.mywebsite.com", which one would you select ?

Micahc 08-11-2005 03:17 PM

x-box; but I told you already. O well

quixter 08-11-2005 04:39 PM

Lol I wasn't sure, nether do I! :xp:

zerted 08-11-2005 10:48 PM

I would choose .cz for the following reasons
1) its shorter than .com
2) a slashdot article: "nospmiS remoH writes "Wired is running an article about a guy with no money making furniture out of FedEx boxes. If that weren't strange enough, FedEx is going after him, legally citing the DMCA. Yes, the DMCA. Apparently they are not upset about the furniture itself but rather this site that he put up with pictures of his creations (pretty good work really). My favorite quote from the article, '...Avila clearly intended to operate a business from his website because he used the .com domain suffix, the "commercial level domain," rather than .net.' You just can't make this stuff up." " http://www.wired.com/news/culture/0,1284,68492,00.html
FedEX won't win the legal battle, but why take the risk?

What does .cz stand for?

Evil Dark Jedi 08-11-2005 11:31 PM

Xbox all the way!
