problem with patch 1.2
well, i have a copy of battlefront, and it came with patch 1.0
today i've downloaded patch 1.2 in spanish, and when i try to run the game it says to put the original disc......
i tryed some cracks, but none of them worked.....
what can i do?

Don't use cracks, they are illegal and you are not allowed to post about using them. If you are using a copy of battlefront and not the real disk, the copy was not correctly made. If you are using a real SWBF disk, make sure it is in the same cd drive that you installed it in.

well, i downloaded the english version of patch1.2, but it says that it isn't comptaible with my game.....i don't know what to do.......i can't play the geonosis level--->i can't win the game.....
any help?

I have exactly the same problem that zk_nazgul explained. I bought the game 3 days ago and installed. There was not a problem when playing in version 1.0. I downloaded the 1.2 patch (English version) and installed (the installation was succesful), but i could not launch the game afterwards. It says "Wrong disk inserted. Please insert the original disc into your CD/DVD drive." which lets you to press "try again" and "cancel" buttons. I bought an used (second hand) game but the game is original with its box and CD-key. I checked the CD1 (play disk) and did not find any errors. I reinstalled the game but the problem still continues. Any help will be grateful.

Please note that, I can easily understand whether a game is an original copy or a hacked one. If you want, i can send you the photographs of the CDs and the box, but i'm sure that the game is purely original.

Try running the game in Windows 2000 (then Win98) combatability mode. If that doesn't work submitt a report to tech support.

I did but nothing changed. I sent two messages to tech support, hoping that they will be replied. Thanks anyway.
