Xtermanator 09-08-2005 07:55 PM

Look at my Vehicle Info for all of the vehicles (In the Strategy forums). My favorite land vehicle would probably be the AT-ST for a good wide range of destruction. But for Air-Wise, I'm sticking with a Droid Starfighter or X-Wing.

RedHawke 09-09-2005 02:26 AM

Droid Fighter, all the way... you can just plain rack up the kills with it. ;)

zerted 09-09-2005 06:08 AM

Jedi Fighter. It fits in places other fighters can't follow :blast5:, and no its not wall hacking.

Marcq 09-09-2005 12:23 PM

Droid Fighter and STAP.

Droid Fighter - Good firepower, speed. Its a bit bulkier than other fighters (not tie fighter however), but due to lack of "lock" on missiles its got great offensive, take anything out with a pass or two. Besides, I find Jedi Starfighters weak on offensive side.

STAP - Its CIS, not clone! What can I say? Its a pain in the rear to lock on to as well.

Micahc 09-09-2005 06:12 PM

Speeder Bike. Why? I hate the Jedi in this game with a passion :smash:

Leviathan 09-10-2005 11:11 AM

Personally, I prefer the AT-AT... It is (perhaps) slow, but this gap is filled by its resistance and its fire-power...

SBF_Dann_Boeing 09-10-2005 07:48 PM

For non modded vehicles i have to go with rebel speeders. I reak HAVOC with those things. Got 98 kills once with one a those on Rhen Var: Harbor. Everyone gets so annoyed for the fact that the can't stay alive for more than 20 seconds because of me they call me a V-tard, which in retrospect I probably am but...I never get tired of those things

AT-ATNemesis 09-11-2005 08:53 AM

If U have a Rebel Speeder and an AT-ST together
the fight usually goes to the rebel speeder
Cos of its secondary laser cannon turret

Leviathan 09-11-2005 12:07 PM

Except whether you're enough skilful to avoid Rebel Speeder's attacks... :D

-Admiral- 10-01-2005 01:22 PM

Its not there i like the Y-Wing

SirLancelot 10-27-2005 05:52 PM

IFT's, specifically the BARC Speeder. Those things just rock. Glad they will be in Battefront II.

Commander Obi-Wan 10-27-2005 05:56 PM

I like the AAT's, they were the best Droid land vehicle in BF1 and still are in BFII...they're even better now with rockets.

Fate's Decision 10-27-2005 06:33 PM

ATTE hands down. It's armor is second only to the ATAT, but it can't be destroyed with a snowspeeder. It has 3 positions for troops, so the only place an enemy can hide is under it, and you can't fit many assault droids under a moving ATTE, not enough to do much damage anyway. The laser has maximum firepower and surround shock, and you can attack in 2 places at once if you drag it.

Het Nikki 11-04-2005 03:21 PM

Speeder Bike, all the way! Forget the blasters just run into things! Oh and Wookies dead in one shot is fairly handy.

IFT's are the fighter tanks, not speeders. The BARC Speeder isn't in Battlefront I and they aren't related to the IFT's.

Commander Obi-Wan 11-05-2005 04:03 AM

BARC speeder is in BFII......the Republic gets to use them.

[viRus-x] 11-12-2005 04:28 AM

AT-AT

zerted 11-12-2005 07:05 AM

Recon Droid.

RaV™ 11-14-2005 07:33 PM

AT-AT

Darth Alec 11-15-2005 09:09 AM

The recon droid???
Mine is the AT-AT, for the sheer destructive power.

zerted 11-15-2005 10:41 AM

Whats wrong with the recon droid? You fly around your enemy shooting at them, when they don't even know where you are. Its also an excellent mine clearer.

Commander Obi-Wan 11-15-2005 01:48 PM

The recon driod's self-destruction attack is very helpful.

Wrong game. I normally don't use the arial strike aganist people. I prefer to attempt to shoot them down. However, I do use it aganist vehciles or right where I am when I'm about to die. Then, at least I'll get my killer too.

Commander Obi-Wan 11-15-2005 01:56 PM

Actually, it isn't the wrong game. I just used yesterday with a Clone Commander at Coruscant: Jedi Temple. It's the recon droid's secondary attack. It waits for a moment and builds up energy, and BOOM! Any body in its radius is long gone.

I mean this is under SWBF, not SWBF2. :coffee:

Commander Obi-Wan 11-15-2005 02:04 PM

Dammit...should've realized the that....d'oh! Well, anyway, AAT is my fav. just cause it's the most effective vehicle for the CIS, IMO.

lord-slane 11-15-2005 03:47 PM

I find the AT-AT to be one of the best vehicles in battle front because it has superior fire power and a hard defense and it isn that slow ...remeber it takes a long stride with each step

lord-slane 11-27-2005 07:58 PM

i also like the speeder bike

Commander Obi-Wan 11-28-2005 01:23 PM

I find the Speeder Bike is only helpful in levels that are in the open. It's easy to spot enemies and not crash.

Exactly. I don't go anywhere near them on Endor, but they're fun in Dune Sea. Hop on one, and keep mowing enemies down, with the blaster. Or, for laughs and fun, run 'em over while telling them to watch out for the drunk driver on the loose. :king1:

zerted 12-01-2005 02:06 PM

I find the speeder bikes better in closed areas. More places to dodge a locked-on missile. Easy to stay hidden untill attacking.

The thing is that you're absolutely right. But I'll admit I have a hard enough time dodging the rocks on Dune Sea, let alone the trees and ruins in Endor and Yavin 4 Temple. I'd be one of those stupid AI that takes off and crashes right into a tree.

PoiuyWired 12-04-2005 12:45 PM

that was fun, parking the speederbike a bit just in front of a wall, wait for an AI to hop on and crash.

d5c 12-12-2005 06:27 PM

speeder its fun to go off jumps and to see the ai`s crash

TSR 12-17-2005 05:50 AM

Yeh the speeder bike is cool, but mainly on dune sea, whilst causing the enemy huge losses by road kill. Ah yes, the lovely sight of a stormtrooper becoming impaled and run over on the front of your speeder bike...(sighs...)
still, its funny riding up the slopes of the temple in Yavin 4 and see how far you can jump off, although it is not advisable to do this in a propeer battle as you die when you hit the floor...

I like the AAT's.

They're especially fun on Tatooine [Dune Sea] because you can blast so many Tusken Raiders. I've gotten more than 90 kills on Tatooine because of that.

JetTrooper13 01-07-2006 11:48 AM

Um how come only a few of the vehicles are listed? Theres a LOT more in the game.

MachineCult 01-07-2006 06:47 PM

Theres a limit to the number of poll options you can have, JetTrooper.
