Who's your favorite Dark Jedi of the 7?
 

OK, am new here now, sry if there is already this question. But what i want to know is, what's your favorite dark Jedi from Dark Forces 2?

My favorite dark Jedi is Maw.

My favorite has to be Boc. Not in fighting -- the SOB hops like a rabbit, but the concept of dual sabers is cool. :)

i liked Sariss, shes hot ;)

In the cutscenes, perhaps, but in-game she's a little... pointy? Is that the word? :D

Yeah, I always wanted two sabers like Boc had. ;)

But in terms of coolness in facing them, I think Jerec was it. I got chills facing him!

I loved Boc.. the guy was a nutter leaping about like that and giggling to himself.

But ALL the Dark Jedi are infinitley superior to the identical baddies in JK2 and JA

Boc. Although of them were cool though.

Sariss would get my vote.

I really like Gorc & Pic in the cutscenes, mostly cause they are CGI and have a cool concept.

I'd say Maw, but the reason is just because he's a floating torso.

You can't go wrong with floating torsos plus the scene he's in is the best imo.

Yeah, and he almost turns Kyle to the Dark Side.

Hard.....I would have to go with Maw, cause he was badd-@$$, and Yun, cause hes just awesome in my opinion. He reminds people of me

Though Boc had cool sabers, Jerec was hard (and scary/creepy when i was 5), Sariss was ok, and the concept of opposite brother were awesome.

Yun, he like Vader became a light sider at the end (if you followed the lightside story).

grevious is the best i think beacuse he commands the whole droid army and he would of beaten kenobi...if kenobi didnt cheat!also is there a way to change the name of your profile?

Er... We mean out of the 7 DFII Dark Jedi: Yun, Pic, Gorc, Maw, Sariss, Boc, Jerec. Pick one. :)

I haven't played SP in awhile, so I have to go with the battles that stick in my mind (okay more like that I can remember) which obviously must have had the better impact.

The two battles that stick in my mind best were those between Boc and Jerec.

The other was the battle with Maw, but question with this one. Did you battle Maw and a Force using dude (can't remember if that is Pic or Gorc) then fight then at the same time. Cause this one battle sticks out in my mind fighting the two at the same time, if that's not in the game then I guess it must have been a DL, or something my mind made up :/ which I....wouldn't rule out. lol.

To the above: That would be Gorc + Pic. The "twins."

Yun was a cool fight, being the first duel. Boc, I felt, was stupid, because he hopped around like a rabbit on speed. Jerec was a good fight, and Maw was also one of my favorites. Pic and Gorc, I felt, were a major pain to fight. And Sariss, she's just kind of "meh."

Yeah I was surprised Boc got the reviews he has on here, most people I talk to hate him. lol, I admit he was a bit annoying, but the hopping was different.

I forgot to mention Yun in my last post :/

Pic and Gorc were, I believe the most challenging, since you have to battle their different fighting styles at the same time, except one time when I went through it Pic got stuck somewhere :-p so that made it a lil easier :p

I like them all. I did happen to like Tavion a lot too. Desann? He sucked! The reason I dislike JO so much is the lack of a good character comparing it to the greatness of DF2.

I'd go with Yun. I liked his look, his saber color/ hilt, and his redemption. It's done better in the book. His last words were something like, "Can you see the light, Sariss? How bright is it?" His master/ apprentice relationship with her was done well and hardly evident in the game.

As said, I liked them all. Jerec was so evil. He's like Maul and Dooku put together. That sinister monster and a gentleman villain. Sariss was probably my least favorite in game but as said, she earns points in the books. Maw is a floating torso of pure anger. What's not to like? Gorc and Pic had a cool concept but needed more characterization in game and I never read the book that they fight Kyle in. Still, a mutated Gamorrean and Kowakian Monkey Lizard fighting as a team is pure genius!

Sariss is cool cause she is kinda hot...

That having said my vote goes to Boc... He gets this good story going on.

It should have been hard. But I just attack Gorc first, then go for Pic. Too easy. But the hard battle when I first reached the last level was, well, difficult for me. I had no clue what to do when he meditated. I somehow thought the statues were supposed to reach the middle. Then, I kept losing for some odd reason... :xp:

i don't quite have a favourite...though the story behind sariss and yun(i think that's the youngster's name) is quite tempting. :)

Boc, the mental b*stard. I liked the way Yun redeemed himself at the end as well.

I like Gorc and pic because they have attitude...and Yun because he aint afraid to die...I definelty like the lightside ending much less than the darkside ending. although the darkside ending was a little wiered when Kyle was about to cry.

Maw. That whole "chasing after him" thing was really awesome. It was pure cinematic goodness. Added to that, the cutscene after the fight was awesome (lightside, not dark). Big sacrifice there Katarn :)

Still, the Jedi Knight games (aside from MOTS) have a habit of succeeding each predecessor according to their respective canon endings. Would be nice if the darkside and lightside endings aren't at two extreme ends so they can tie in to their sequels' plots regardless of the path chosen. Or do it something like KOTOR 2

I like Yun, I just think that he shouldve like killed Sariss because he was a Dark Jedi not a Jedi Jedi.

To fight mine would be Maw, but I really like Gorc (I think that's him - the smaller one).

Gorc the large fat one. Pic is the small one. For me, I like fighting Yun and he was my favourite one. It was the first time I'd seen a yellow Lightsaber. It was also the first time I'd seen Dual Lightsabers or as they called it Two Lightsabers.

My vote goes to probably Sariss. Before I really learned how to use the saber in JK, she scared the hell out of me. If I pulled a gun, she'd rip it from my grasp. If I ran away, she'd fry me with deadly sight. and when I'd get close, her defences were almost unbreakable for a noob.

Good cutscene beforehand, good map. good fight.

For me, my favourite Dark Jedi was Jerec. I remember we had a tennis match of force destruction - he shot at me, and then i shot back!

yun was cool. Even though he sucked he was still cool since when kyle was about to die he saved his life and kyle use his orange saber to kill the rest of them. Pity that LA didnt use yuns saber in any of the other JK games

I always pick orange sabers in games.. (i'm playing KoToR 2 at the moment and do indeed have an orange saber). And its all down to Yun.

I gotta say that every one of the Jedi was great.. which was a damn good achievement on the part of the writers and the designers. All fought differently. All had different, but cool little levels to fight on, and all had different but interesting characters.

I can't think of a single one i didn't like. Yun was a cool character.. and the first, basic fight with him was very memorable. Gorc & Pic were great ideas.. didn't work quite as well as it could but fun anyway. Boc was a great character. Saris had great cutscenes and a cool map. Maw was very evil and had a cool map. Even jerec rocked.

I so wish they'd do a game following on from the dark side ending... sigh.
