Thrawn's Revenge is a total conversion mod.
It adds many factions to the game, 7 that are playable and a few
that are not playable. We also will add on to the 2 playable factions
currently in Empire at war. The timeline spans from around the beggining
of the Phantom Menace until the novel Survivor's Quest. The main focus
being Thrawn during that time. It is currently set to release three major parts.

Replace all current skirmish and single player maps
Four new Galactic Conquest maps featuring 12 or more new planets
several new skirmish maps
Adding units and heroes to the Rebellion and Empire

We already have the Empire of the Hand in fully playable and functioning fine, I have not nticed any extra lag though...

A little while ago I found out how to make units also function as reinforcement points. I am releasing this code to anybody who wants it. The closest thing to a bug is they look bad in the minimap.
Also there will be a few pics of that hero in there coming soon.

Weekly Update 3
Welcome to the third weekly update! Once again we start off with general news.
Yesterday was the three month anniversary of Thrawn's Revenge, so happy anniversary!

Today, we show a few of the ways the Rebellion can teach the Empire and the Hand the meaning of war.
And of course what would Star Wars be without the Empire striking back? this is a reskin of Carnor Jax. He may get a new model later.
Heres another coded feature, units building other units (probably only used for the Arc Hammer and DT 1-3, maybe some other things)
Theres Jan Dodonna's icon, we didn't have it when the rest of him was shown.
As usual there will be more for the members.

Welcome to the fourth weekly update. Once again we will start off with the staff changes:
We have been getting some complaints about the site never being updated and being hard to avigate, so we are making a new one. This time we will be using good forums, so the current forums will not be up long. When we have them up, the current board will go offline with instructions of how to get to the new ones, so we are hoping for a smooth transition.
Why should you care about new forums?:
-Upload feature will work
-PM's will get there on time
-We will be able to have some very nice new features

Weekly Update 5:
Sorry for being late, I was having problems with the internet yesterday.
Today we have more ingame shots. This time its one of the Chiss and the Empire of the Hand's main fighters. That along with building your skirmish space base in real time.
Since we are making it so people build ships from the actual company shipyard that made then, the current idea is you buy a shipyard from that company at your space station, then you can jump in a shuttle containing a rep of that company (icon and all) and you use that to place your shipyards.

We are going back to the old forums temprorarily. We are finding a completely new host as the place we have our forums went down or something and Petrolution wont give us our MySQL stuff.

A small update but it includes some pretty big things...
First off is the Tector Class Star Destroyer. It was modelled by Cody back in June I think and it was and skinned by knickers.
Its squaring off against the Chiss Star Destroyer. This was modelled by me and skinned by Knickers.

The Chiss class Star Destroyer is the main capital ship of both the Empire of the Hand and Chiss Ascendancy when R3 rolls around. The Tector is an Imperial capital ship better suited to taking shipyards, capital ships and Starbases than the Imperial class.
Finally we have the TIE Phantom, modelled by me and skinned by Knickers. This fighter is for the Empire, buildable at Aeten 2.

I know, we haven't had an update for a long time. This is part one of 2 updates.
The recent apparent inactivity was due to the team being extremely busy trying to finish the minimod, and some other stuff.
A quick update on the minimod first. There are still a few maps and skins that need rfinishing up, as well as a bit of coding and some icons.
Once we take care of those, it will be sent out to our beta testers for about a week of testing and bug fixing, after which it will be availible for download. It will include 4 new Galactic Conquest maps, 8 new planets and redone planet maps of 8 other planets. A full unit list will probably be posted in part 2 of this update.
Here is a list of the beta testersthat have been chosen for testing the minimod:
Next off, we have some renders.
First, we have Delta Squad. This will be an extremely useful (and cool) Republic hero when R3 comes around.
Next comes the ARC trooper, a Republic minor hero.
Then we have the AAC-1. This is tank for the Rebellion.
Now there is the UT-AT. This is one of the Republic's Artillery units.
Then we have one of the CIS's most powerful heroes, and his bodyguards.
And finally, our new Venator model. This was given to us by GU, which I have been made leader of due to the resignation of the old leader.
Last, we have to say goodbye (at least temporarily) to Ben, AKA Grand Admiral Makati. Prior to his resignation, caused by a homework overload, he was one of the coleaders of the mod. He has been with the mod since day 1, and will be missed.

Cool love the idea of being able to build ships in battle.
I saw that you are amazing in creating new heros. I respect your knowledge. My biggest desire is to make my own seperate hero unit for the original EAW. (no FOC)
It would be a space unit using an Imperial Star Destroyer model or another bigger one which I saw you made...
For my hero I would like to have new special abilities (1 extra then the usual ISD), a seperate icon (different from original Imperial Star Destroyer), and maybe sounds I would make.
The question is... how do I do it?
Is it possible for me to do this? Can you please help me? You are my last hope!!! Thank you very much!

I have an idea that's probobly WAY too big to do, but what if you made it so that you had mulitpule battles going on at once? Like you're fighting the imp remmenent at hoth,
And all of a sudden the chiss drop out of hyperspace over Corillea all while you drop a small taskforce onto endor!
If it was possible I think that would be cool, to fight at diffrent places at the same time, switching between them somehow.
Like I said, It's probably to hard to do though.
