Game Stalls
 

Okay, so I am running Windows NT 5.1 SP2, and Jedi Knight with no compatibility settings. Now, I load it...and I get a black screen, crashing my computer. I have to completely turn off the computer, and turn it back on again.

Now, do I need a specific compatability mode, or do I need to change some setting?

My computer is currently set to 1280x1024 24-bit color. At a 75 Hz refresh rate. The game is located in a second hard drive, D:\.

I don't think JK was ever meant to be run in NT 5.x. Check LucasArts.com yoda's helpdesk support pages, they will offer more help, since I don't use NT...
