Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all, and to all, a good night!

Discuss.

itchythesamurai 12-25-2006 03:00 AM

Your avatar is adorable. Merry holidays, everybody!

Thrik 12-25-2006 09:25 AM

Merry Christmas. :D

Kjølen 12-25-2006 11:27 PM

I got a kick ass Olympus FE-190 Digital Camera.
Pirates 2 DVD and soundtrack, Superman Returns DVD, a couple Samurai 7 DVDs, gas card, Target card, Best Buy card, clothes, tire air-pump, a few assorted other things I can't remember, and of course, a lot of junk food.

DrMcCoy 12-26-2006 05:45 AM

I got some kind of stomach virus, with non-stop puking and diarrhoea... \o/

DarthAve 12-28-2006 08:25 PM

OW zelda, caps locks off.

itchythesamurai 12-30-2006 08:55 PM

That's right Ave, keep your minions in line!

Fealiks 12-31-2006 06:16 PM

I've not been here since Christmas..? Wow. Eid mubarak to any muslims who are reading this :D

itchythesamurai 01-01-2007 07:31 AM

Fealiks 01-01-2007 12:04 PM

I'm sorry I was busy. She's learned her lesson though...

Joshi 01-11-2007 06:29 AM

Oh, Merry Belated Christmas everyone, I got a scarf.

I'd have said this earlier but hell, I don't remember anyone giving me any birthday wishes on the 3rd... I mean I was only 21...

I would have but I was busy on the third. You know....congress starting....school resuming....Top Chef....busy.

Joshi 01-11-2007 03:15 PM

Excuses excuses excuses...

DarthAve 01-11-2007 04:01 PM

Top Chef is no excuse. It is a part of my life.

Joshi 01-11-2007 04:26 PM

Well now I just feel sad for you.

Fealiks 01-14-2007 05:13 PM

Don't feel sorry for her, she can.. wait.. what is Top Chef?

DarthAve 01-14-2007 07:33 PM

Top Chef is like Project Runway, but with food instead of clothes.

And Marcel instead of every other cast member to ever be on Project Runway. Because Marcel Vigneron = pimp. "You say my food lacks fundamentals like salt and peppa, and I'm like 'Yo man, whateva!'"

Joshi 01-15-2007 04:05 AM

I'm waiting for Fealiks to ask "So... what's Project Runway?"

You see, there are certain shows we here in the UK don't get which you there in the US do... like half of your reality TV.

Fealiks 01-15-2007 05:06 PM

Right, right. So... what's Project Runaway?

Kjølen 12-25-2007 08:05 PM

Oh dear. This thread was still on the front page. How sad.

General
Logitech Revolution Wireless notebook mouse
Some hoodies and a long-sleeve polo
Black leather gloves
Assorted little nick-nacks such as a Japan flag ornament, black sharpies, compressed air can, etc
And lots of candy and junk food!
Games:
Knights of the Old Republic II
Unreal Tournament 3
DVDs and CDs:
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End
Nightwish Oceanborn
Halo 3 Original Soundtrack
Books:
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
Alchemist
Bleach sketchbook
Monetary:
$150 cash
$280 Best Buy gift cards
$75 gas card
About $50-odd some dollars in Wal-Mart and Target cards

I have no idea how I made out so well, this year.

Joshi 01-01-2008 11:53 AM

You know a forum is slow when we're using the same christmas thread from last year to celebrate this year.

Anyway, this year I got a pair of socks, and a bunch of shirts... am I really that old?

There's a possibility I might get some extra swag on my birthday (Jan 3rd) and some more when I go back to uni and guilted my friends into buying me something.

Fealiks 01-01-2008 01:06 PM

Merry Christmas (even if it is a bit late) and a happy 2008. I got many money (over £100.. I'm RICH :D ) and Assassins Creed (on Xbox360), which is a brillaint game, complete with the official art book (which is excellent because the game has a beautiful art style :D).
I also got a family guy season 4 box set and a partridge in a pear tree.

Joshi 01-01-2008 05:41 PM

None of my family (or friends) buy me DVD's... they don't know what I do and don't already have and what I want or don't want. As it is, I own all the DVD's I actually want to own so technically there are none they can buy me anyway.

Fealiks 01-02-2008 02:19 PM

What about an Argos gift voucher? Can't go wrong there.

Joshi 01-02-2008 05:38 PM

Frankly, in my current financial state, I think I'd prefer cash... plus there's only so much you can get from Argos, whereas cash is generally accepted anywhere. :)

Thrik 01-03-2008 04:48 AM

Cash isn't very fun to give -- that's why gift certificates were born. It almost feels like paying a yearly wage rather than giving them a present, hence why I made my sisters have DS or Wii games instead of a wad of money. :D

Joshi 01-03-2008 08:47 AM

Considerinf I'm a Uni student, a yearly wage would come in handy. Frankly, I don't tend to get real presents from my folks anymore, so I don't expect much save for a card and some money, I get the actual gifts from my friends.

Fealiks 01-03-2008 03:28 PM

If you'd like a wage get a job you lazy bastard. And a haircut. Dirty ****ing student.

Joshi 01-03-2008 03:41 PM

Yeah, final year of university, 60 page dissertation to do plus advanced coding to learn and implement for my final year project, 5 classes, all with individual assignmetns and exams, if I'm not doing them I'm learning a different coding language and i have just about enough time to shower in the morning, a jobs exactly the kind of thing I can fit in right now.

You're obviously right about the hair though, at current, I bear a striking resemblance to Bill Bailey.

Oh how convenient..

Joshi 01-04-2008 02:35 PM

Not quite what I call it...

Fealiks 01-04-2008 02:37 PM

Just another excuse, Joshi.

What a coincidence that more than one person should be on this website at the same time. That never happens lately.

Joshi 01-04-2008 02:40 PM

The only coincidence is that we're online at the same time, which isn't really a coincidence at all. As for this website, you post, I get an email notification, I come here. Simple really.

Fealiks 01-04-2008 02:43 PM

Email notification? You know I could completely spam your inbox now...

Joshi 01-04-2008 02:48 PM

How? All you could really do is spam any threads I get notified about, to which I will promptly close them for spamming.
