Modeling with 3DS Max v9
JKA is still one of my favorite games and I'd really like to make player models. I've actually come close to doing it before when I had the trial for 3DS Max. I never could get the bones to work just right but I came pretty close. Well now I actually have max but it's version 9 and I can't find a way to import or export the Ghoul2 player models. Does anyone know if there is or ever will be a glm import plugin and xsi export plugin for max 9? I installed the 3DS Max SDK to see if I could make a plugin. Does anyone know where I could find source code or documentation on how the glm files store data? I appreciate your help.

There is an XSI export plugin for Max9 (comes with the XSI 6.01 trial). I kind of doubt there will be a GLM plugin, considering how old the game is. But you never know. You don't really need a GLM import plugin, though.

Please, can anybody inform me more on the posibilities of importing .glm files in 3DS Max9? I know the topic is old as hell but I found it on google. I need more info on this, or if things have developed!
or maybe an alternative converter from .glm to .3ds files? Please :(

I could probably write a converter if someone knows the glm model format?

An alternative would be milkshape 3d, import the glm into ms3d and export to .obj so max can import it.
