Game runs too fast

I recently bought a new PC.

Athlon 64 duel core
256 MB GeForce 6100
1 gb RAM
etc.

I installed BF and it runs unplayably fast. I reloaded. I loaded all the patches. I played with the video settings. Nothing works.

Is there a known problem with this?
