I NEED HELP WITH SERVERS

ive tried to make a dedicated server many of times just each time people cant connect so if you would plz explain this to me like do i need to open ports and a detailed how to open ports would be nice

Just turn off your firewall off or configure your firewall to let the server connect to the internet.
