Image in sig?

I can't seem to get the <insert image> button working in edit signature. Is this a bug or something? It says error on page.

Those buttons have been broken for a while I believe, to insert an image you can manually type out the code like this
HTML Code:

[IMG]http://www.myimagecode.com/image.jpg[/IMG]

Hmm, you were correct about that, hadn't noticed that before. :) I think I've managed to fix it so the buttons in the editor should work in the profile screen as well, now (if you have javascript enabled in your web browser).

I still can't seem to get it working. what does the <[url]www.myimagecode.com/image.jpg> mean? can't i get a pic off my desktop?

You must upload the image from your computer to an image hosting site, such as ImageShack. Once you do that the site will give you an address at which the image can be found. you simply copy that address and stick it between the [IMG][/IMG] tags.

Yes, boba rhett is correct

Beefyh 05-08-2008 04:29 PM

Huh, that's weird. I did upload it and it still didn't work. Hmm... It might have been that I used filedropper...

EDIT: OK, now I'm ticked off! I've tried 11 different hosting sites including FileFront! When I put it on it just comes up with this: http://files.filefront.com/Beefyh+4xcf What's the deal?

It sounds like you are trying to use a file hosting site. You need a site for image hosting such as photobucket.
