My first ever forum ;_;
 

I signed up to these fine forums at the age of 13, and here I am posting at 22.

The MI boards were my first ever forums I used, just came back here to post something in the Grim Fandango forums and throught I'd pop in to The Harbour for old times sake. I remember being here during the hype for Money Island 4, nearly 9 years ago now, how time flies.

It's really weird to think back to the ridiculous frenzied activity the EscapeMI forums had back then, and it only gets weirder once you realise all that's still there frozen in time — including the hundreds of posts you made as a kid.

I'm still here at 23. And yes, this (or rather, escapemi.com's forums before they were merged into this one) were my first ever forums, this place carries a lot of old memories for me, my first post, my first thread, my first moderatorship. Ahh the memories.

This is the first forum that I spent over seven years on, if that counts. :p

Does it count for the ones that wonder off and fall off the grid for months to years at a time just to end up peeking in the doorway once every blue moon or so?

Since we are remembering good times I miss the forums when they were escapemi, back with my old doppelganger username, HTML tags were free to abuse...though I never…almost never did that, and were the Trekkie wars pre or post move?

Heh, just saw this topic. I'm starting to getting back here, have been away for a couple of years though. Although I have popped in once a year or so.

I'm also still alive. Partly at least. :P

You'd think that the release of new games might bring a few more of us from under our rocks.

There's a lot more activity going on in the Mojo forums if you're looking for discussion about the new game. They're also part of LucasForums so you can join right in if you want. ;)

Pffft, this is the only (sub-)forum that matters

It's funny how little to no Monkey Island discussion is happening in the Monkey Island forum a day before the release of Monkey Island 5.

Yeah I'm really surprised too. Coming back here one and a half month after the MI5 release, and hardly no discussion... Very sad!

I think that's because Telltalegames got their own MI-forum. And there have been a LOT of activity there.

I'm an oldie too, btw. 12 years when I registered. Haven't posted here since the prime time. Good times.

Edit: Huh, I thought i joined in 2001, but that was wrong. I was 11 years when I joined, then. Whoa, half my life has passed since then.

I was 13 years old.

I am old now.

I was 10 years old when I first joined Lucasforums. Now I'm old enough to drive.. (but I won't do that to the rest of humanity for another few years).
