What LucasArts game are you looking forward to most?

Out of all the LucasArts titles announced recently, which are you looking forward to playing most?

Just a side note, Tales of Monkey Island is not being published by LucasArts, Telltale just licensed it from them, but I think it's close enough to include it on the list.

urluckyday 06-05-2009 10:57 PM

Has got to be secret of monkey island SE...LA has finally decided to do something right...

M@RS 06-05-2009 11:02 PM

Yoda. None of the Star Wars games are appealing and I don't know much about the others, yet...

Sabretooth 06-06-2009 02:08 AM

For me, in order:

1. Tales of Monkey Island
2. The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition
3. The Old Republic

ToMI and SoMISE are tied, really, but ToMI is the original content , so I'll go with that.

Not even Monkey Island?!

True_Avery 06-06-2009 04:49 AM

Well, obviously for me it is Old Republic. I think I'll try out the Monkey Island games this time around though, as I have heard a great deal about them.

Pho3nix 06-06-2009 06:51 AM

The old republic. >_>

Miltiades 06-06-2009 07:06 AM

As much as it pains me not to say Monkey Island, I'll have to choose The Old Republic. I've played SoMI already, and the Tales will have to convince me first.

LordOfTheFish 06-06-2009 10:18 AM

tor..tor...tor...tor

Jasper_Kazai 06-06-2009 10:22 AM

The Old Republic for me, no contest.

SW01 06-06-2009 10:52 AM

The Old Republic, I'd say. After that trailer and True_Avery's write-up of the preview demo, it's suddenly quite appealing.

RenegadeSniper7 06-06-2009 12:31 PM

TOR, but we all know what we'd rather have... *cough*KotOR III*cough*

Monkey Island looks stupid.

urluckyday is going to tear you apart. :p

Drunkside 06-06-2009 01:47 PM

TOR, even though i hate MMOs... But they have been speaking about not having a monthly fee, and if thats the case im buying it the day it comes out. Might have been a sweet sweet dream though...

Please, just kill yourself before we lynch you.

Q 06-06-2009 02:15 PM

^^

Secret of Monkey Island, Revisited for me.

And, of course, TOR's spanking everything else. You bunch of sellouts. :p

Actually, after Avery's writeup, TOR's become a lot more intriguing.

K_Kinnison 06-06-2009 02:44 PM

How jsut about a CLone wars era space flight sim for the PC?

Or is that too much to ask?

I don't want any watered down flight sim like "elite squadron" come on... you couldn't come up with something better? ARGH i hate the console driven market churning out poor-quality crap

Where is everybody hearing about no monthly fees? :p Everyone should assume the game will be $15 a month just like all other MMOs.

For me, it's pretty difficult to pick anything over Tales of MI, but I have to say The Old Republic, with Tales close behind. The E3 demo really blew me away (IGN.com) and if BioWare can deliver on all their promises, I think that this should be the biggest and best MMO out there.

Negative Sun 06-06-2009 07:23 PM

TOR, hands down, just please please don't **** it up LA...

Titanius Anglesmith 06-06-2009 09:20 PM

Definitely The Old Republic. I was too young to remember anything about Monkey Island when it first came out, though, so I might try it out when its re-released.

I don't give a **** about any of the others.

Serpentine Cougar 06-06-2009 11:30 PM

I would say Monkey Island, but I already played it on DosBox not too long ago and don't see too much reason to play it again. I'd say Tales of Monkey Island, but I want to play the other MI games first... That leaves TOR, though I'm not really that excited about it, mainly because it's an MMO. That trailer was nice, though. :)

If im not mistaken it was on Pelit magazine (the largest and best finnish game magazine) a couple of months ago. But they were also sceptical about it...

Hallucination 06-07-2009 01:15 PM

I missed out on LA's non-SW game scene, so I'm not as interested in most of the other games as everyone else, so TOR is easily the one I'm looking forwards to the most. o_Q

Edit: Also I don't have a console to call my own, so that limits me.

leXX 06-07-2009 04:21 PM

Easily TOR. No contest.

Threepwood4life 06-07-2009 07:31 PM

Monkey Island for me, both of the new games. Bout time LucasArts did something right and put Star Wars on the back burner for the time been waited 9 years for the return of a classic.

Prime 06-08-2009 10:28 AM

Even though I'm not totally sold yet, TOR.

spartan181 06-08-2009 11:20 AM

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings. I saw the preview on The Nintendo Channel (on Wii) and is pretty much the reason why I want it. :indy:

Sith'ari Darth Bane 06-08-2009 11:39 PM

>TOR<

Tommycat 06-09-2009 11:26 AM

While I loved Monkey Island, I've already played it(well the original). So to me it comes down to which new game would I want... Only one that seems good is TOR. Don't own a wii. Not a fan of lego stuff(sure it might be fun, but really...just not my thing). And lets face it I'm not getting a handheld.

Taos 06-10-2009 02:49 AM

Without question TOR is what I'm waiting for.

Char Ell 06-10-2009 09:48 AM

Rather begrudgingly, TOR. It looks promising but I just know I can't afford the time investment it will require to play.

urluckyday 06-10-2009 05:53 PM

Is TOR supposed to be coming out this year or next?

Hallucination 06-10-2009 08:10 PM

The only thing we know is that it's supposed to come out some time after the announcement of its release date.

urluckyday 06-10-2009 08:14 PM

^hehehe that clears it up...

Soon™

mattig89ch 06-11-2009 02:40 PM

I'll give tor a chance, so long as it has a free part to it, but i'm not look forward to it in any way.

knight 12167 06-12-2009 10:39 PM

TOR

joesdomain 06-12-2009 11:39 PM

I would say Star Wars Battlefront Elite Squadron is my choice. I am still ticked that Lucasarts chose not to release a new Battlefront game on PS3 and X-box 360. I know I won't be buying The Old Republic since I own a PS3, PS2, PS1, and PSP. I don't play online games. The only games I play are single player against the computer.

spartan181 06-15-2009 11:29 AM

The excitement is gonna make my head explode!
