A few questions..
 

Firstly hello everyone. I'm new to the forums.

I have some questions about modeling. It's my first time doing this thing so i don't know anything about modeling/skinning. I want to make a new model; not a reskinned kyle or something. A new, all around unique model. I'm downloading soft image XSI 6. Is this gonna be enough? What do i need for beginning? Is there a walkthrough?.. things like that come to my mind first.

I've heard of people using XSI, so you're in the clear there.

Here's a great list of modding tutorials, surely there's some player modeling ones in there ;)
