Assasins Creed: Brotherhood
Today i will hopefully get the 'Shipment Confirmation' for the 2 different Collectors editions(Auditore & Codex Editions) of this game that i've ordered online.
From what i've seen it looks pretty impressive so far. Edit: The Auditore edition features: Lineage dvd Transparancy box with 3D thermoformed portrait of Ezio Auditore and " Animus" effect Multiplayer character cards Exclusive in-game content Aqua Gear exclusive single player map Additional bonus to be discovered..... Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - Limited Codex Edition Includes: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood game Renaissance Collector Chest Exclusive Codex Map of Rome Multiplayer characters cards Lineage DVD Bonus DVD and game soundtrack 2 Exclusive single player maps: Aqua Gear & Trajan Market 2 Multiplayer characters: Harlequin & Officer Helmschmied Armor for Ezio Additional bonus content yet to be revealed |
Much as I would like to play this game, and was looking forward to seeing Rome rendered for AC, I won't be buying for any platform while that permanent Internet nonsense remains in place. :carms:
Got the Codex Edition in the mail today.
One of the extras in that edition is the Drachen armor. ACII players will remember the Helmschmied armor parts from that game, the Drachen armor is a Full armor set made by the same company/armorer. And it looks most impressive. Haven't tried the two single player areas that came with the Codex Edition yet. On another note... Quote:
Haven't tried multiplayer so far though. So, i don't think there is a 'Permanent internet Nonsense'. I could be wrong though. |
That's the PC DRM which they introduced in AC2. The PC version of Brotherhood isn't coming out until next year anyway, so you'll be waiting a while regardless of whether you want to buy it or not.
I thought Ubi decided to nix that version of their "anit-piracy", meh. I get AC for my PS3 anyway, I picked up this and I'm having a blast.
Can't talk, too busy playing AssBro.
Has anyone else noticed the guides over at GamesRadar yet?
The game has been out around 5 days and already there are three guides up at that site. |
That's like that with a lot of games... there's inevitably be someone on the net who plays the first run-through with guide making as a guide... or they've simply gone through whatever official guide has been released and put it into their own words/style to publish on the net.
Kinda cool glitch:
I've done something similar a few times.
Though, instead of jumping up i tend to jump sideways, usually the way i came. |
Finished AssBro earlier today... :'( @ end.
Shh, no spoilers, i'm still on my first playthrough. :)

Any impressions? I've been wanting to get this, but I decided to wait for a price drop. Is it better than AC2? Is it essential to the Assassin's Creed storyline?
I like it just as much as I liked AC2... basically it's pretty much an expansion to AC2 than anything else even though it does have some new elements and some slight gameplay tweaks... kind of what Mario Galaxy 2 is to the first. That's not a bad thing, it's a very good game and there's a ****tonne of stuff to do in it.
And yes... it's essential to the AC story. Don't be fooled, just because it doesn't have 3 at the end doesn't mean this is something you should miss out on because you may think it's a side story... it's not. It is essential. *nods* |

How the heck do i Solve the 'Truth'? I seem to be stuck.
depends where you're at, are you still searching for cluster rifts? are you stuck on a certain puzzle?
Nah, i've solved all of the rifts. :)
It is the blasted 'thing' all those clues turn into that i'm having a problem with. :( |
oh, well I just kept running and "dieing" and eventually it worked out... but yeah trippy as ****
Hmph, that 'Truth' is really annoying, the path through keeps frigging changing.
I found that bit pretty easy actually... don't think about where you're going, just push forward and let stuff happen. It doesn't actually take very long.
Ok, finally completed the 'Truth'.
Wth? Son? Eve? DNA? Was that it? |
If you take the information 16 gave you in the-truth.exe in AssBro with the truth video from AssCreed2 as well as the endings of both AssCreed 2 and AssBro, then you'll start to understand more about what he's talking about.

(Hopefully i won't get into trouble for this post)
Turns out that after paying for both versions of AssBro that i have an axtra DL code available.(This is for the 360) Anybody want it? It is for an extra mission to a mine, as well as the Drachen armor. Btw, one of the pictures that was in both versions seem to be of a *very* futuristic armor. The staff the character is holding reminds me of the tech seen in the first and final area of the game. Is it possible that Desmond will find a set of armor in a future game made by the 'Precursors'? |
PM with code sent. :)
Cheers
Hubby ordered AssBro for me for Xmas, YaY!
I knew this game would have a total mind**** ending, but I definitely wasn't expecting that.
I can safely say my mind has been thoroughly ****ed. |
Yep, that ending was a definite wtf moment.
(Spoiler warning)
Darth Payne, this forum has [spoiler] [/ spoiler] and [hidden] [/ hidden] tags, I suggest you use them :p
I know, for some reason i couldn't get the blasted things to work. :(
Thanks Lynk for fixing that. :) Edit: Does anyone know what the Animus DLC is about? I can't find out if it is SP or MP. |
