Republic Commando 2 the Mod - Nearing completion
 

There has been sometalk lately that it is dead, and i would like to let everyone know we are nearing completion.
Our current schedule is as follows,
01-01-11 Next Update Released
11-11-11 Final Version Released. Cake Eaten.
I hope everyone will be blow away by the level of detail, and depth to our story.

I remember playing an early version of it. And it ended at the end of a cave. Can you go further than that level now?

Its there now. And you can play a little further then the cave, I don't want to give too much away right now (one of the reasons I wont release it with the new voices yet)
I need feedback about the feel of the game and such, like playability. Are the enemies too hard, too easy, is there a glitch or flaw I missed? I can't fix everything but I respond to all suggestions.

I like the mod! One thing I think could be changed is spelling. Some words are spelt wrong. Otherwise, great!

Is the file size any smaller? :P last time I checked it was like 400 mb, and it said it'd take about 3 hours to download xD

Yeah it does take a while. It's not smaller, if anything, its a little bit bigger. Using a download accelarator it took me 2:30 hours to dload.

900MB? The game was 2 GB.

900 mb? When I downloaded it, it only said 500 mb. But yeah, its a large file size.

Aren't torrents illegal? Or is that only some things? Like games?

Torrents are only illegal based on they're content.....games,pr0n,movies etc. -illegal

So having a RC 2 mod torrent isn't illegal? But say the original RC is? And the same for Porn and stuff?

Exactly. Torrents make HUGE downloads much easier to download. That's why pirates use them for games and movies.

I tried torrents once. I was downloading a mod that would take 6 hours, and it dloaded it in 30 minutes. But I don't use them anymore cause I needed more room on my pc.
