playing on vista?
 

this is a complete newb question and i don't know anything about pc gaming so i was wondering if you guys could help.

would it be possible to play any of these x-wing series on my laptop which is vista home premium 32-bit ?

or should I try something else? i do have a server running windows home server but that def cant

You could play them on your laptop, but would you want to is more the question. Games generally run better on a desktop machine than a laptop of comparable specs (due to stuff like using system memory for video memory, which laptops often do). Your desktop is also likely attached to a bigger monitor (though you could definitely use whatever video out you have on your laptop to put it on a bigger screen).
