I'm fairly certain that picture is just a reference from TOR, not the actual mod.

I've lost faith in humanity...
Anyway, Darth Revan reskin is bad for this Armor.

@Down
I've understand it, I tried too re texture this armor to Darth Raven one.

I think that you misunderstand. He is reskinning the current Revan armor to look like this, not the other way around.

Yeah I completely understand that. I just meant if he could get some thing even similar into the game I would download it....

USING THIS PICTURE FOR HELMET:http://thedrunkenmynock.com/_Media/s...lyte_mask.jpeg

Scorge 04-08-2013 04:34 PM

I'm impressed, though I suggest that you sharpen the mask a bit. Nice work so far!

Riven Fall 04-08-2013 05:13 PM

its only in progress :P

Zhaboka 04-08-2013 06:16 PM

I believe it's smudged because of how the game maps the texture to the model. Take a look at the original Revan mask underneath and see if the proportions of it are different. I'd think it would be a little wider at the bottom than your texture, and you just need to adjust yours to match.

Warning: I am no skinner, and this is merely observational experience-based conjectural advice.

Riven Fall 04-08-2013 06:20 PM

Its ok i almost fixit up if u want another screen it will be early =)

Riven Fall 04-08-2013 07:20 PM

Finally some progress i completely reedited texture again but finally some progress..

PICS:

It's also probably because of the size of the texture. If memory serves, the Revan texture is only 512x512, so some pixellation on more modern systems is perhaps not a great surprise.

Canderis 04-10-2013 12:13 AM

It also seems your game is running in a low quality or you are taking screen shots in low quality.

Vindikorr 04-10-2013 04:59 AM

Looks really good. The screenshots are a bit too dark to see it in a lot of detail though, maybe try upping the brightness a bit :)

Yeah you're going to have to up the res at at least 1024x1024 if you want to get any detail. That's especially true of the mask since it's such a tiny area of the texture.

Col_Zechs 04-10-2013 06:47 PM

Thats badass

Scorge 04-10-2013 07:31 PM

I really like this, if its for the Darth Revan model, by any chance can you make a capeless version?

Riven Fall 04-10-2013 07:38 PM

Maybe later =), yea ur right i got 800x600 xD so thats why and its too dark cause i was in hangar and there darker lights previous pics was from medical area, nevermind as u could notice i didnt have finished rear side textures of mask thats why cause i try to discover hows texture position on model, i will provide u with new massages if i have some new progress =) thank you.

Riven Fall 04-11-2013 10:30 AM

So ive made some another progress u could see here:

http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/4963/k200010.jpg

http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/215/k200011.jpg

Im still working on side of helmets (those hardest one), after helmet i will start reskin armor

I hope you like it :P

Darth InSidious 04-11-2013 12:59 PM

Looks much improved - keep it up. :)

Zhaboka 04-11-2013 02:14 PM

Indeed, getting much closer to the original mask! Nice work.

Sith Holocron 04-11-2013 06:40 PM

After you make your next round of updates for this, is there any chance you could take those screenshots in an exterior location? I want to see what this skin would look like if it was well lit.

By the way, looking at the robes in the initial post, I think black robes over the Ubese Armor might be a better starting point for you rather than the Revan Robes. For example, here's what Dak Drexl achieved with a Ubese armor and robe combination.

http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/9236/ubesem1.jpg
http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/8628/ubesef.jpg

Granted, you'd have to use a hooded robes but that shouldn't be an issue.

One last thing, no matter which robes you wind up using - you're probably going to have to do some major work on the forearms - beyond just skinning. Again in the original picture, those hands and forearms are encased with some serious thick armor plates. They're pretty close to Boba Fett's in shape if not in color.

Riven Fall 04-12-2013 05:28 AM

Yea i know id like to make for first time for these but problem is.. no sith/jedi helmet with hood..

Dak Drexl 04-12-2013 11:40 AM

If you wanted you could just use my armor + the Revan's hood mod you were using in your earlier screens.

Riven Fall 04-14-2013 09:55 AM

Rly Daky ? =) that would be cool

Riven Fall 04-14-2013 09:57 AM

Yep and i would say that revan hood got darker mapping of texture ... than original so i will need to bright texture i think for mask

You can brighten the texture but that doesn't always look so great. You can also try following this quick tutorial and see if it fixes the lighting issue: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=207929

Riven Fall 04-30-2013 07:14 PM

Guys unfortanetly :C i lost all my files due computer failure :C so i will need start completely again :C, well atleast i should try combination with Dak Drexl armor/robes + revan mask =) as u suggested =), but im sorry for my lost now :/ and sorry i cant release them earlier :C

Col_Zechs 04-30-2013 07:38 PM

I didn't really like Dak Drexl's Sith/Ubese Armor Robe combo mod. The leggings armor was too fat looking and the colors weren't very vibrant.

VarsityPuppet 05-01-2013 03:22 AM

Alternatively, if you could make use of these body models, I would be ever so happy.

Armored Robes for Jal Shey Armors

Model might require some editing, but hey, close enough.

Riven Fall 05-01-2013 06:45 AM

Thats the problem.. I dont have NONE expirience with modelling :C and id like to had some but i dont have :C
