Yippee Yippee Boing Boing!

I posted a topic about this a while ago, but there are quite a few new folk who've arrived since then, so I'll open the subject up again. (Although knowing this group, this will probably be the one and only time it's mentioned, since it's a GAME topic...!) http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/wink.gif

Anyway...what's your favorite ship to fly?

Myself, I like the TIE interceptor the best...although the A-wing comes in a close second. It depends on the level, of course, so for definition's sake I'll narrow the parameters to the Moff Seerdon's Revenge simulation. The mission's demands call for a well-rounded fighter, what with the speed needed for missile turrets and firepower needed against the shuttle at the end...not to mention maneuverability for use against those scum-sucking b****dog TIE fighters...!

As for sheer fun...nothing is more fun than taking the Millenium Falcon to Kile II. You HAVE to know what you're doing to get through those canyons safely, but it sure is a blast! http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/wink.gif

Hmmm. I think the X-wing is useful...

Take the thing and cover it with reflective markers--use it to train recruits! http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/wink.gif

V-WING

Good turning, good lasers, good clusters

Did I mention how much I liked the clusters? I did? Oh well, here I go again. Good clusters!

Um... I like any ship that doesn't fall out of the sky while flying level and under no enemy fire. But that's just me. http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/smile.gif
No, I like the Naboo, and the X-Wing.

I think the Naboo is TOO good, myself! I mean, it's faster, carries more missiles (which pack more wallop), has an artoo unit and rapidfire cannon that are set close enough to the centerline that precision fire is easy. The only drawback I've found to the thing is the long-*** tail that I keep smacking into things whenever I pull my nose up.

I dunno...I just like a little more challenge, I guess. http://www.roguesquadron.net/forums/wink.gif There's no arguing that it's fun to fly, though.
