i think the majority of the jk clans that i know of are sticking to etg.

which include but are in no way limited to: #wc #sykotic #ironknights #hdk #dsbr #jediknight [ie NDS/JKMAG] #splat #jcs #jag etc. I know i forgot a bunch. Feel free to chime in folks.

DH is there, too. Also, JaG has started a channel called #nar on enterthegame. It's a place for everyone to setup games, chat, hangout, or just idle. I've noticed an increase in activity (seen some WC guys there!) and we hope that it picks up in the future.

So if you are on enterthegame, feel free to stop by! Deathbolt, mattwindu, and some others are already regulars!

mIRC is so easy to use no wonder it's #1!

Instructions to download and use mIRC.

1.) Download mIRC at http://www.mIRC.com
2.) Install mIRC
3.) Click the 'file' drop down menu at the top of the mIRC chat box
4.) Click 'options'
5.) A box should pop up on your computer screen named 'mIRC options'.
6.) In the 'IRC Network' box scroll down from the option 'all' until you get to the option 'EnterTheGame'
7.) Fill in: your name, nickname, email address, and alternative.
8.) Click the "connect to IRC Server" in the middle of 'mIRC options' box'.
9.) Once you connect the 'IRC channel folder' box should pop up.
10.) In the first open space type a number sign # and the channel you want to join.

I'm willing to give @'s in #JediKnight to the staff members of jediknight.net, jediknightii.net and any other accredited website (not necessarily JK related). Staff members from various sites, including jedi-outcast.com, fragoff.net, and provinggrounds.com (to name a few), are already hanging out in #JediKnight and will soon be @'d if they aren't already. I'ev offered this before, but no one seemed intersted, just thought I'd ask again.

I just don't see a point in splitting the major JK sites from the major clans/players. Just makes sense to keep them all together. If JKO has it's own LEC/Raven chat server, that we can access through the game, I'm sure we can just all use that. Until then though, I think we should all head to enterthegame (ETG), just like a 100+ other JK/JK2 players.

gamesnet.net...those 2-3 people are also the coolest, smartest, bestest looking crop of super computer geeks out there.

Starting any type of IRC channel is hardstuff :D You should come to ETG and start up a channel. We'll advertise it for you on our channel :) Our intention is to help the JK2 community.

If you get the latest versions of mIRC, you can be on two servers within having 2 mIRC's open. Maybe you folks should start thinking about using both gamesnet and enterthegame at the same time? What's the point on being on just one server, when you can have the best of both worlds? :)

We have a channel on both ETG and gamesnet, though from what I've heard we may be using ETG more. We'll see. I personally don't use IRC that often, but our Tribes/T2 team lived on it.

For those of you that are using gamesnet and are interested in having the best of both worlds (gamesnet and enterthegame), simply download the latest version of mIRC, it enables you to be on 2 servers at once, without having 2 mIRC's open. I would suggest this for anyone who may love their server, but at the same time, want to communicate with the bulk of the IRC Jedi Knight/Mysteries of the Sith and Jedi Outcast community.
