How does the credit thing work??
 

I've been out of the loop for awhile (rl getting in the way) What's up with this credit business?? Do we earn credits no matter which forum we post in or only in select forums??

Could somebody please explain this to me??

You earn points for every post you make, no matter which forum for you do so in. You also earn points for having other's respond to a thread you created. Also if your thread is rated well, you may earn more points.

Points can be spent at the Forum store for goodies such as:

Glow Name
Hotel Room - private forum
ability to attach a file to a post
Change your username
Change someone's Title
Buy an Image Sig
Donate points to other users
Etc.

OK, here goes an explanation:

You hope you get points.

You are angry because you have no points.

Then you get one point.

Repeat until you get 200 points.

You buy a glow.

You find out that the colour sucks.

Is there only one color to choose from for a color name or are there multiple colors to choose from?

How many points do you get per post?

If you edit an old message does it give you more points?

Hey ZBomber i know im probably not as smart as you were when YOU had just started getting into the whole forum thing. So since im usually in the mood of improving things that are wrong with myself. Thank you for the advice. Next time if i have a question i will just search for all the answers i need. I did not mean to upset anyone with my questions that are obviously way too difficult for you to answer.

No no, don't listen to him. This is what the help and feedback center is for. If questions are repeated then so be it, if you want to know something ask. A lot of the time it's easier to ask a question again because it would take too long a time to figure it out for yourself. If you have a question people here will help you. It wouldn't be much of a help/feedback forum if we all did it Z's way :D
