It seems like a lifetime since I last posted here. I see some fancy new ****'s been added. What's the deal with that?

If you're talking about the "points" thing below your post count, it's a new hack that lets you "buy" little forum doodads (see the link on the mainpage), like a glowing name and whatnot. There's also a Hotel feature now, which lets you get a private "room" and invite certain members in, sort of like a private forum.
