The Great Pod Race
 

((Alright lets to a pod race, when the race actually starts just make up the track as you go and you can say you pass someone but you can't totally god mode the race, and it will be on Coruscant so you should know what to expect.))

Name: Sebastian Coltarr
Species: Duros
Age: 35
Description: Wears a green and grey jumpsuit and has large black racing goggles.
Pod Racer: Its has two engines that are mostly green in color and have triangular shapes to them. The cockpit has a green paint job as well and its a half sphere, a glass window closes over it and it becomes a complete sphere.

It is almost 10 years past the battle of endor, the 10 year cleebration will take place tomorrow. To hit off this celebration the new republic has brought back pod racing for one day. It will take place on Coruscant on a large track that stretches for several, several miles, the winner gets one million credits.

Sebastian finishing polishing his pod for the big race tomorrow. Sebastian remembers his father tall him stories of pod racing back before the empire. He was in a large vehicle bay on Coruscant waiting for the big race tomorrow.

Species: Ewok
Age: 30(in human years)
Description: This small creature has a small, brown helmet and dark glasses
Pod Racer: This small creature has allso a very small and agile podracer. Iwi has built the podracer for five years, driving around the forests on Endor to harshen his skills and reactions. His brown, two motored and ball like cockpitted podracer is very fast, very agile and VERY hard to handle

Iwi jumped down to smack a small droid. The creature spoke the common language very well. "That doesn't go there! It goes there! And that goes there! Do it again" it shouted and swung his arms to point at two different places and then his other hand smacked the droid on the head. The ewok climbed back up to fix a slight propblem in turning

Name: Keeloct Vanjook
Species: Quarren
Age: 29
Description: he is an average height average weight quarren with a dark red robe and purple sleeves with a black helmet.
his podracer has 2 engines that are cylindrical with flailed endings and they are purple trimmed with black and his pod is triangular and it is dark red trimmed with black.

Keeloct looked over to the droids cleaning and polishing his pod racer, they were doing an excellent job, he was at the docking bay bar getting himself a drink.

Sebastian the Duros doubled checked everything on his pod, the race would start within the hour. He looked around at the massive crowds, there must be 500,000 people just at this beginning of the track. He looked as several different species inspecting there pods or bringing them up to the line. He jumped in his cockpit and strapped on his goggles. He waited to put the cockpit glass up.

Keelcot paid the bartender and went over to his pod. he dismissed the droids and hopped in, he checked all the systems and started the pod up, he strapped on his goggles and waited for the race to start.

Iwi smacked another droid. "The race starts soon, now get that engine running!" Iwi screwed the last piece into the cockpit and then checked the engines. Then he hopped into the cockpit and put on his goggles. He smiled as he looked at the massive bod next to him. "Crazy Quarrens..." Iwi muttered as he saw Keelcot in the cockpit. He looked a lost droid. "Get outta' here!" he shouted and the droid went off and smacked itself into the wall next to the door. Iwi shook his head and checked the systems

Name: Troezen
Species: Rodian
Age: 20
Description: He is an average Rodian (Look at Greedo)
Pod Racer: The Cockpit is a tube with a clear covering that Troezen has to lie down in with small cameras around the out side of the engines and cockpit to be able to see.
The three engines are cone shaped with the wide openings facing the cockpit.

Troezen wonders through the streets of Coruscant his protocol droid TH-52 is preparing his pod.

Troezen checks he has his blaster "Never cheating, only ever self defence!!!" he says as he walks towards the track - twists, turs and a few tight corners "Intresting!"

Trozen walks over to a small ewok in a pod next to him, "Good luck, you will need it, I will win."

Troezen jumped into his pod. "Let's get this show on the road!"

Sebastian looked up and saw the large lights that will signal the start still red. He heard the rumbling of several pod engines. He looked around and saw about 20 different racers. One Million Credits he thought to himself. The lights changed to yellow then to green.

Sebastian pushed the throttle at the same time he lifted the glass lid of his cockpit over his head. He raced ahead and saw several pods ahead of him. There was a tight corner ahead, a tight right turn. He eased on the gas and took the corner like a pro. He bounced off the side of the another pod, one similar to his, he thought he remembered seening an ewok inside of it.

Keeloct punched the throttle and zoomed out of the start with only 1 pod ahead fo him, and alot close behind he took the corner easily i didn't practise for this my entire life to mess up on the first corner anyway.. he thought as he moved up closer to the pod infornt of him and tried to pass but then had to take a series of lefts and rights.

Sebastian pushed the duel throttle yokes forward all the way and he went forward. He saw a pod just ahead of him, a Quarren was driving it. He started to pass him and starting to bump the side of his pod to move aside. He looked uptrack and saw a large divider in the track, they were headed right for it.

Troezen was racing around the track, he was about fourth at the moment. He could see a pod coming up ahead of him, it had a wookie inside it, or it might have been an ewok, either way, he steered his pod and his three engines rihgt next to the ewok and moved past into third place by only a few meters.

Kelloct was bumped by another racer, so he bumped him back, he looked up ahead to see a divider, he quickly veer left of it and went speeding down the track dodging and weaving between buildings.

Sebastian barely missed the divider as he scraped the side of his pod. He looked back for a sec and saw another pod explode as he crashed into it((just an generic person)). He thought about it and decided it must have been that quarren racer((although it wasnt)). He weaved in and out of abaned spires in the middle of the track and raced around old building that the track was built around. He saw a gap in the track ahead, a large gap.

Name: Bor Gibbo.
species: Twi'lek
Age: 27
Description: Bor has an open, circular shaped cockpit with a rudder at the back (For no reason, other than that it looks kinda neat) and three engines connected in a triangular shape. The upper engine has twice the power and the size of the other two, wich are mainly for maneuvering. This way, gibbo has a fast but manueverable pod. His team colors are green with a yellow stripe across the pod...

Troezen saw a pod blow up ahead of him. He didn't have time to wonder about it, he just manovered around a track divider and went past it. He saw a qurarren next to him. He zoomed past and suddenlyly saw a gap in the track. Troezen pushed a few buttons and flicked a few swithches. He had seen the track days before and had practiced this moment. He flew over it easily and passed a duros in mid air. The commentator on one of the screens he had in his pod said he was first, by about 2 meters.

Bor was fourth, but he too had studied the track before the race. There were a lot of curves up ahead, and this is where he would gain terrain with his highly maneuverable speeder. HE dodged the gap in the track and prepared for the curves...

Keeloct used to be a smuggler and knew the quicker ways and decided not to jump the gap but rather go headlong into it and he landed ina tunnel that came out of the wall, just big enough for his racer, he swirved around the tight corners and came up through the track in second, he saw a rodian infront of him, he apparently had caught up to the rest of the pack.

Sebastian flew over the gap and realized was in first until another pod flew over him and took first. He landed somewhat softly on the other side of the gap and pushed the throttle yoke all the way up. He was right behing the rodian racer and his energy cuplink was on a few feet from the rodian cockpit.

Keeloct saw that the third place man was about o kill the rodian so he took first and swirved arund another corner and up and off a ramp to land just on the side of the track and he was on top of a building but he came back down about 250 meters infornt of everyone else

Troezen saw on his rear view camera the duros about to fry his pod with his engergy cuplink. Troezen didn't have much time, he turned his pre-set atopilot on. It would steer the pod at the same speed around the course the way Troezen had pre-set it to do, but wouldn't know if there were any other pods ao things in the way. He got out his blaster and opened a small panal at the back of his cockpit and fired a single shot at one of the duros's engine.

The blaster hit home on one of his engines as Sebastian wasn't expecting it. Flames and smoke flailed from the engine. He rapidly hit several switches and a he pulled over on the side of the track and got out. All of the podracers speeded past him. He was so mad and frustrated that he fumbled with his tools. When he fixed it he realized that it would be a miracle if he could catch up now. He sped off again.

Bor was being gained by one of the racers and pushed off the track...

Keeloct hit a bump and wnet flying, his engines blew up, disintigrating him as well.

Sebastian saw several pods go off hit the wall and explode. This was now his chance to catch up. He sped up and was back in the pack again. He realized how fast these pods actually were because the finish line wasn't far ahead. He saw the rodian and planned to take revenge before the end. There was a large gap before the finish line with a river of molten lava below. He accelerated and came up side by side with the Rodian as they approached the large gap.

Troezen could see the duros behind him and he was catching up fast. Infront there was a large hole that Troezen would be in in about five seconds.

He put his foot on the the gas and sped straight foward and like before went straight over the gap. He lostsight of the duros as he landed on the ground the other side of the gap annd was on the home stretch.

Sebastian was at max speed just behind the rodian. He hit the jump going several hundred miles per hour. He looked down and saw some pods didn't make it. He was in midair and saw the rodian below him. He landed directly on top of him. His engines were tangled in with his. His cockpit was side by side with his. Suddenly both of their energy cuplinks went dead. Their engines flew off into the grand stands. Their cockpits were sliding on the track now, sparks flying everywhere. His cockpit slided just barely ahead of the rodians across the finish. The crowd roared. He did he it he won the great pod race, no wait, there was an ewok ahead of him. An ewok won, a bloody ewok.

Troezen's pod crossed the finnish line one hundreth of a second behind the duros. He had come second, but then he saw an ewok ahead of him.

When he got out the pod, he got his blaster and shot the ewok and duros. "If there was no one ahead of me to get the money, I get it."
